I owned a used set of the other major brand flight sim yoke, throttle, and rudders and I will say that this set up is quite a bit better quality. The software works well, the controls are smooth and well made I feel for the price, caught on a prime day deal for $749 and I feel it is a good value at that price. Use for MSFS 2024 to mainly fly Cessna 172. Use for other multi engine and turbine aircraft. Packaging: Great! Came undamaged and boxes intact. First impression: Pretty hefty and decent size profile. Connection: Product is USB-C to USB-A for computer. MSFS immediately identified yoke, throttle, rudders, and worked for aircraft without doing a settings setup. Ran into a problem for throttles quadrant. Lights will not work, had to download a separate application to make it work and open every time I open MSFS 2024 Using: Tension on yoke to push and pull is excessive no way to adjust. Tension on throttle, prop, mixtures-friction is good for me and is adjustable but will only adjust all not individually. Tension on rudders is really excessive even when has adjuster on the lowest setting. Rudder pedals will move if just put on ground by itself. Had to brace rudders using weights to stop it from moving. Overall: would recommend if you can get over the tension and adding a separate app to get the lights working. ... show more

Great. The only complaint i have is, the rudder pedals want to move across the carpet and nothing protects the usb cord from smashing against the wall.

2 out of 3 boxes arrived ahead of schedule. The third was lost in the shipping environment. Seller was extremely prompt in rectifying this issue. I am looking forward to getting these highly acclaimed "flying tools" up and running today.

    • Poor/Disconnected Customer Support
I really wanted to be happy with my Honeycomb flight controls! I purchased a Captains Bundle that includes the Alpha, Bravo and Charlie. The second time we attempted to connect the USB cable to the Charlie Rudder Pedals, the female plug inside the rudder pedal housing broke completely off and is now floating inside the device. I requested support and it took weeks for them to respond and when they did, they had to ask what device I was referring to...even though I had outlined what the issue was when I created the ticket. They told me that they would send a shipping label, once I told them what device was having an issue. They claimed that once they received the device with the issue, they would send me a replacement. So I sent them an email describing the issue again and requested the shipping label. When they sent the label, they described a process of returing everything for a refund, not exchanging the defective set of rudder pedals. It does not seem that they can track the specific details of the issues they should be helping to resolve or follow through with actions to resolve those issues. They also didn't provide any type of return authorization number so that once the item was received, it would be processed correctly. I am left feeling as though there is no way that Honeycomb Aeronautical can resolve customer service or warranty issues at all, let alone in a timely manner. ... show more
