This uncapping roller is a great value. The quality is good. Mine did not have any broken, bent or missing pins. The pins are sturdy and should hold up well. There is a washer between the cap nut and the roller, which should help to prevent the nut from unscrewing during use. I like that it is easy to remove the roller for cleaning. I have not yet had a chance to test this roller since my honey harvest is a few months off, but the quality of this one compares favorably to others I have used. I look forward to uncapping some frames!

This honey extractor uncapping roller is well made with a comfortable wood handle. It rolls very smoothly, and the spikes are pointy, so they easily puncture the comb. We have tried uncapping knives, both heated and unheated, as well as an uncapping fork. The knives cut off so much extra comb we were prompted to try to find a better method. The fork works, but it's not very fast. The uncapping roller is so much faster allowing us to cut the time required for honey extracting.

This is a great rolling uncapping tool. The tool is well made and durable. The roller bolts onto the handle for great stability. The only downside to this type of uncapper that I have seen is they get clogged up with wax after a while and you have to wash it off. Otherwise, it saves the integrity of the comb very well.

Extracting honey was a mess last year. I used a couple different methods for uncapping, and none of them worked well without crushing the comb or missing huge areas because it wasn't deeper than the frame. I'm hoping this will work better and will let me uncap without massively damaging the comb.

We’ve been capping by hand and this roller is a game changer. I really like how efficient it is with the inverted caps or some of my comb that’s not very even. This has saved us more time than I ever though and want to order another one so 2 of us can use them when uncapping our frames.

Well made uncapping roller. I ordered this to use for honey frames that are unevenly capped. Sometimes there are dips in the comb and the caps can not be cut with a knife. This roller is handy for that. Some beekeepers use only the roller for uncapping. It is a matter of preference. The price is fair and the quality is good.
