Needed a new humidifier after my previous one ran its course, I chose this one for ease of cleaning without cheap plastic parts that inhibit mold and surely enough, I chose a good one! It has a low and high setting and the mist output is phenomenal. I love the different colors for ambience, how quiet it is and also that you can set a run time for a select number of hours. The design is very minimal for easy clean but is a heavy duty plastic with a large water base. Overall I am very thrilled and so happy with this humidifier!

The Homvana 3.6L Top-Fill Cool Mist Humidifier has been a great addition to my home! I love how easy it is to fill and clean thanks to the top-fill design, and the large water capacity means I don’t have to constantly refill it throughout the day. One of my favorite features is the separate compartment for adding essential oils. It’s such a nice touch because it allows me to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy without having to mix oils directly into the water tank. It creates a relaxing atmosphere and makes the room feel even more comfortable. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that I wish the mist output settings had a little more customization. Overall, it’s a quiet, convenient humidifier that works well and adds a calming element to my space. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a humidifier with a little extra something!

This humidifier is just perfect for the approx 14ft x 15ft room i needed it for. It does a great job! It is extremely quiet, and it is east to maintain. It is a nice design and size. It has a HI and LO settings. I keep it on LO all day and all night, and it does what i need it to do for that winter dryness when the heat goes on. I usually refill when i see it is half full. It works out nicely doing it that way, only have to refill half once during the day and once at night. It has 2 directional openings on the top to let the mist out, has different color lights you can set it on, not sure but guessing it serves as a night light and also you can see the level of water at a glance. It also has a compartment that you cane put essential oils into. I have not used that, so i cannot comment on how that works. The mist does not “drip” or leave water — example would be if it is on the night stand, the mist does not leave any visible moisture on the item it is standing on. At least none that i have had or seen. Of course i would suggest a little towel for it to sit on if it is on furniture, ya never know when you might accidentally dribble water when refilling, or if you knock into it, remember some of the water is held in the base not just the clear container where you put the water in. I am very satisfied with this Humidifier and I highly recommend it.

A GOOD HUMIDIFIER UPDATE Jan 11, 2026 I unintentionally caused myself a week of problems due to rapidly unboxing this humidifier, in a store room, and then moving it to the office, ASAP. The printer stopped a week ago due to low humidity. It needs 40%-60% The ink dried out. It was printing blank pages @ 31% RH The unnoticed USER MANUAL was also included, in with the brush cleaning package. I tossed it aside. Cleaning is not my main issue right now. Later! This resulted in guessing how to make it run continuously without any included instructions. Every time I checked the H101 humidifier - it was OFF - all week. I unplugged it and was going to hacksaw the base off and wire it 100% ON. (if at all possible) And there . . was the help I needed. . . stamped into the base: [email protected] I wrote [email protected] and explained my frustration. Alice wrote back and gave me a list of things to do. I wrote back and said they didn't help. Alice wrote back with free shipping and replacement instructions. The engineers wanted this unit back to test. Seriously! Meanwhile I visited the storeroom and spotted the user manual. I should NOT have EVER touched the half-moon button: ------------ 4. Sleep Mode Button: Tap to turn on sleep mode. Now it runs 10 hours before stopping - and it even counts down H9 H8 H7. . . I wrote Alice; I don't want to send a working humidifier back, and risk getting an untested device. Alice: I understand. We're here if you ever need us - case closed. We have all seen; to reset - REMOVE BATTERIES, WAIT 10 SECONDS, AND REINSTALL. You wouldn't think this would apply to a humidifier-but it does. It's electronic also. Remove the 24VDC plug from the base, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect. This is a game-changer for owning a H101. CTL ALT DEL Alice said they will include this statement in future user manuals. Since the base is black - the buttons are black - the writing is gray they are invisible in my home office. I put on small round price stickers over the ON/OFF POWER button and the TIMER button. Now kneeling down with a flashlight has been eliminated. I can operate it standing as you should be able to. The 5 star rating is on the service- not the H101. ==============PREVIOUS 2 STAR REVIEW BELOW================= AI says my office printer needs 40% RH or above to keep the ink from drying out every day. The 5 gallon home console humidifier can only maintain 38% RH this year and keeps the office @ 30RH. Last year it put out 50% RH. Thus I needed a dedicated humidifier for the office and got this Homvana. If I close the office door and if it keeps from shutting itself off, the room tops out @ 35RH. So the printer's heads still need cleaning every day with or without this Homvana. The 34hour Super Long Time feature is undesirable and a hinderance to developing humidity. It does take 1 1/2 days to vaporize 3.6L. The reason is; the miniature 0.750mA power adapter only uses 0.240mA on the HI setting. I have another 3.7L similar looking humidifier for the bedroom and it draws 0.350mA and is more aggressive. Thus, it needs water daily. I gave it 2 stars because the office is now 34% RH and I still have my printer problem. But, to be fair, my other humidifiers aren't doing much better and I just don't know what to do next. I put a shallow cookie baking pan under the printer and filled it with water. It won't evaporate. - Michigan Update: The 4 hour setting seems to be the only way to keep it ON. All other settings shut OFF in 1-2 hours. It wouldn't be right to donate it to a thrift store. Getting a free replacement doesn't solve my printer problem. Maybe there is a relay on the circuit board that could be wired 100% ON. No harm done. I think the humidifiers that boil water are still available. .

In the beginning I loved it. Its quiet, adjustable, lots of settings, and best of all, my plants and mushrooms started thriving. It is easy to refill but the cleaning... ugh. I was not expecting for mildew to grow in it and there are so many nooks, crannies, and crevices that it is impossible to get it all out. I tried calling the company line and it no longer works. Emailing is the only way to contact them and the automated reply say it will take 2 to 3 days to respond. I cant find any tutorials/manuals to break it down to do a thorough cleaning. It gets 5 stars for operating but 2 stars for ease of cleaning.
