We used this to cover the door of our outdoor cat house. One cat went right in, the other wouldn't. The cats both were using their houses before we installed the covers. So we placed the reluctant cat in the house, she sat there looking out like "I don't know if I like this" but she stayed in and has been using it since. Keeps the wind out of our cats houses and falls back in place when they go in or out. It was easy to cut, heavy duty yet clear so the cats can look out if they like. With their heated pads the cats are keeping warm in the cold weather. One roll gave us enough for both cat houses with some left over. We used screws to attach the strips. We're glad we made this purchase.

We cut the piece in half and used it on the cat door in our cat house. Really cuts down the cold air coming through the door. It was easy to install with a few screws. This one is very high quality material, it is thick yet pliable. We are replacing thin, flimsy flaps that just were not working. The cats are used to going through flaps to go to their outdoor sun deck. Good value for the money.

It's a bad product. I bought it for my puppy after reading the description taking into account that winter arrived and although it has a good place to sleep I thought this would be a good option and it only lasted the night I put it on. My dog is not used to biting things and this became easy for him after I ripped it off where I had put it. I don't know if I got a bad quality one but in summary it's very bad. I don't recommend it.
