Perfect for nights and days temps fall below freezing. We don't like outrageous electricity bills. We normally sleep with the heater off during the winter or at 60-63 at night so our pipes won't freeze but the electric blankets are wonderful keeping us warm while we sleep and the auto shut off is great to have. Having electric blankets to keep us warm as needed is much better than running the heater and paying outrageous electricity bills during the winter. The heater also dries out our nasal passages and causes a lot of nose bleeds for us. Our neighbors have been posting about their $400-800 electric bills for one stories and we have a $142 electric bill for a two story. I bought this for my cats to use on their side of the bed now that the cold weather is here. Last year we had one that shut off automatically after a few hours. This one goes 8 hours. They really like it and I’m happy my furry kids are comfortable during the winter. It’s washable and pretty sturdy. I got the grey one since I use the Sherpa side up and it was less expensive, but I’d probably buy a prettier color for my side if I needed a new heated blanket. ... show more

I like that this blanket has so many settings, for temperature and for the timer. It’s a cute color too! I’ve had it for a month now, and I use it nearly every day for pretty much the full 8 hours. The cord is long, which is great for me. Overall, good value!
