After a long time spent buying electric blankets that ended up being "hit and misses" this one ticks all the boxes for me: It's easy to get it to STAY ON ALL NIGHT (up to 8 hours with one setting, more if you extend it manually). AND it actually works! The only thing I would caution is that today's EBs DO NOT seem to tolerate even gentle machine washing - at least they're very finicky. Hence, I buy them whenever they're on sale..., I get the twin size and put 2 on my King bed so that we each have our own control AND if one goes bad it's relatively inexpensive to get another one. Because you're taking a chance when washing that it will cause the blanket to fail, I extend the life of my electric blankets by putting them sandwiched in-between the top sheet and another blanket. This seems to insulate from the top while feeling great on the skin and keeps the EB out of contact with most dirt and body oils. I have fibromyalgia and heat REALLY helps me feel okay, so I have mine on A LOT, and still by doing the sandwich thing and not washing it I can get about a year from one blanket. Then it's my preference to throw away the old and get a new one (for electrical safety reasons... with the heavy use I'm giving these wires I don't feel safe donating them or continuing to use them myself. ). These make phenomenal gifts! Perfect for your friends and family on chemotherapy (which is how I discovered this brand myself), perfect for elderly, and anyone who has bone and joint pain can really benefit from keeping warm.

I have used electric heated mattress pads for 30 years. I was tired of being warm on the bottom and cold on the top. I am so glad I bought this one... Well worth the money, I purposely didn't go with the cheapest one. It is very soft and flexible. Being warm on the top and bottom when I'm in bed is very nice. I turn it on as I'm getting ready for bed. Even if I forgot to turn it on before I go to bed... It heats up instantly. The house is 68 degrees. I usually have the blanket on '1' setting and rarely on '2'. I also like that the control light goes off after a few seconds. The controls are easy to do, even if you are not looking at it. I've had the queen-size blanket for a month now and doing great.

Oh my gosh! I got this on a whim because I really wanted to find a big cozy heated blanket for my mom. I recently moved my parents into my home from south Florida to NC. They went from constant warmth to extremely chilly mornings. Sometimes it’s only in the twenties! This blanket has become her favorite to cuddle on the couch, or to layer with her blankets at night to give her the ultimate warmth. The material feels nice, heats nice, and is big enough to add a layer to their queen size bed. We’ve had no shedding yet, and despite having moved from living room to bed, it seems to be durable. I bought this for my husband. He has cancer and gets cold very easily. We recently purchased a hospital bed (from Amazon) and the queen size electric blanket that he already had was way too big for the new smaller bed. We turn it on while he’s getting ready for bed and it’s nice and toasty for him by the time he’s ready to get in. He starts it off on High to warm it up but turns it down half way once he’s in as it will get too hot if he leaves it on high. It’s very soft and the wires aren’t too noticeable. It works great and he loves it, especially since we’ve had some bitter cold nights lately.
