This shade absolutely installs as quickly and easily as stated. I think it took me 5 minutes; that includes opening the box, reading the instructions and putting the blind in place. This is definitely worth the money.

I am pleasantly surprised with these No Drill Tension blinds. I installed them in standard windows (27W X 64L) over a month ago. Install was very easy, just use the included hex tool to tighten the blinds until you hear a click, then cover the little hole with a small silicone piece. The little handle at the bottom to open and close the blinds is just a plastic piece you snap in that could look more refined but they are fine. I open and close these blinds daily. I found the first few times I closed the blinds; I had to hold them down a few seconds to keep them at that level as they wanted to retract but that eventually relaxed, and the blinds don't recoil now. Opening them up is easy and so far, after a month of daily use, the blinds still retract and stay at that level. I will update this if eventually, the recoil weakens over time. But for now, I am happy with the quality of these easy to install, no drill, tension blinds. If your windows are too shallow depth wise, the blinds may not work for you as they do need an interior frame for the tension part to work. But they do also include hardware to install with screws if needed but make sure you account for the correct size if you want to mount them outside the window and on the frame. Great solution for a rental property or if you don't want to drill into the window frame and you have conventional sized windows. I'm not sure how larger windows would fare as they may be heavier but for my windows, worked great! I also chose these based on speed and easy of Prime delivery. Would be nice if they offered a light filtering option to allow sunshine but still maintain privacy. These are thermal so they are intended to block not filter sunlight.

Item description clearly states "no drill/no tool" blinds yet it has brackets with screws. Definitely not what I paid for. Now Im inconvenienced taking a "Not As Described" item back for a refund during an already busy holiday season. Do not recommend.
