The restocking fee after returning was 30% of the original cost of the rug. I would not have tried it knowing that beforehand. As other reviewers said it comes folded and it is not a clean look once unwrapped. It has fold marks and the edges were not neat and clean.

Update: on the third delivery after receiving 2 damaged rugs, the 3rd one arrived well packaged and protected and it’s beautiful! I love it! This 9x12, rug is (or could have been) beautiful and exactly what I had been looking for, but it arrived damaged, due to ripped/shredded packaging that caused damage, and also the fact that the rug had clearly been folded in half during shipment/delivery. Folding it like this damaged the entire center of rug all the way through. It could not be smoothed out or corrected. It was severely wrinkled and the rug fibers had been split apart and destroyed by the fold down the center (looks worse in person than in the pics). A rug like this should NEVER be folded in half. Amazon is replacing it, but I now have to wait 2 months for the replacement to arrive. I just hope they don't fold the next one and cause the same type of damage. We shall see what happens with the replacement. I hope that it arrives undamaged, as that is what I paid for. I love the style and color of the rug. If it arrives undamaged as it should, I'll update this review and give Amazon credit for making it right and providing what I paid for, which was certainly not what I received so far. ... show more

I'll start by saying the rug is lovely with a nice soft feel and a pretty sheen. Just what I had hoped for. It's a large rug at 8 x 12 and I was shocked to see it arrived folded rather than rolled. The folds are puckered, stretched and lumpy on the floor. I have it laid out now and so hope that it will recover it's original shape. Other than the shipping issue it's grand. ... show more

The rug was used and dirty. The UPS driver said "It looks like they gave you a used rug. I feel like I will be picking thus back up." He was right. Very disappointing. It would've worked well in my space.
