The common problem when I assemble racks made of metal bars and plastic joints is that the plastic parts are often very fragile and break easily when I insert the poles. Went together nicely and would take some work to get back apart. Its made of molded plastic tubes that slide together nice and tighly. Its lightweight and will hold any number of shoes you want to stack on it. Very sturdy. Not good for high heals as there is no actual surface, just bars. Pro tip - Insert the long cross bars and then tamp them together on the floor like you were trying to squash the biggest spider you ever saw. Easy to assemble. No tools required. Literally a 10minute job. Holds 5 pairs of shoes on each level. I followed the idea of another reviewer and flipped the unit over so the top handle was on the bottom. As he stated I am able to slide flat objects under the first tier. This would be good for slippers or sandals. The entire shoe rack is plastic. While sturdy, it is not rigid. If heavy shoes or boots are placed on the top rack or if the rack is placed adjacent to a heating source, the plastic crossbars could bend, buckle or become disformed. This easily fit 10 pairs of women's shoes. It fits right into my closet. It was easy to put together and it is very light weight. It is not designed to hold anything really heavy on it though. I do wish I had bought the 3 tier instead of the 2 tier though so I could store a few other light weight things on it. It was a good purchase. ... show more

It was easy to assemble and served its intended purpose. However, it only lasted approximately one year. It is very lightweight and the bars are weak and break easily.

    • Solved my missing shoe delimma
I purchased this to put on the floor in my closet to organize my shoes. It was easy to put together and solved my problem of having shoes stacked up all over each other. It was so easy to put together and just slid right into the closet. One of the things that I like is that I can move it a little and dust under it. Now when I go into my closet to find a pair of shoes, the pairs are together and I have no trouble finding both shoes. I did put my slightly heavier shoes on the bottom rack, and then was able to put more lighter shoes on the top. The box that this product was delivered in says “Home Complete.” This is not true. I open up the package to get ready for assemble . It has no instructions in the box. You have scroll down to where this product was advertised in Amazon to get information. I get it everything going digital. Also, they are missing parts. It not complete. The top handle part that curve and attaches to the top of shoe rack is missing. The delivery and box it came in was good. The chief complaint here are the missing parts. The product itself is made of cheap materials and of low quality. The price for this product is not worth it. The only reason I will be keeping it, is due to dimensions of the product and it will fit into the space I will be using it in. ... show more

    • Searched for days for best shoe rack , this is the one
I ordered this shoe rack to go into the top of my closet as I use the bottom to store luggage and accessories, I thought ordering it the tubes were going to be PVC pipe of some sort but they're all metal which pleased me even more, as I prefer that. The connectors are plastic, and these do stack but I only used one unit. I did however flip the top "handle" pieces upside down and install on the bottom to make it rise up and have the shelf it is sitting on function as a 3rd shelf, instead of just 2. Now it is comfortably holding all of my shoes except my everyday sneakers which I leave on the floor. Thats 4-5 pairs of shoes per rack depending on the shoes, and it is sitting on your standard top closet wire shelf, resting on the horizontal pieces that hold the shelf up, and is very sturdy in that position, with it barely budging with an aggressive shake. ... show more
