I was worried it would be bright red but it's not. It's measurements are all true to size. It holds quite a bit of food items. The door shelves may require you to purchase certain brands/ sizes to fit. Yes it took 2.5 hrs to put the first one together only half the time for the second. The instructions leave out a couple spots you need to leave the top loose or loosen it to fit the back panel in . Also do not put the middle back panel screws in until last or you may have a gap down the center. I desperately needed pantry storage and these take up very little space. I love them. They are sturdy unless you try to move them after they are filled. Which is true for most furniture. ... show more

This is typical cheap furniture. As I was screwing parts in I could hear cracking and the paint would give. The parts didn’t line up exactly right so I had to use wood shaving tools to help open up some of the cam lock holes a little more and then it fit together. The backing also didn’t line up and wouldn’t fit so I had to chip off some globs of paint there too. My cat knocked over one of the doors while I was installing the other and a chunk popped off. I glued it back on and it didn’t really fit back in it’s place, you can see the tape holding it on it the pictures. That door doesn’t stay open on its own which is kind of annoying. It took me a while to assemble by myself because there are a lot of parts but I didn’t have too much trouble. It’s cute though, and fits perfectly in my small apartment kitchen so I don’t regret buying it, especially because I just spent a ton of money on moving and don’t have a lot of extra cash to spend. Just be aware this isn’t a super high quality piece and definitely ask someone else to help if you get frustrated with putting furniture together. ... show more

Not sure why so many reviews said the instructions were not clear. I put this rack together by myself. It took a few hours on account of the amount of pieces but the reason I bought it was because of all of the shelves so it makes sense. Definitely worth the time it took.

Worst piece of furniture I’ve ever bought off of Amazon. Cheap quality, the door doesn’t stay shut it opens on its own as seen in the picture. Putting it together is a pain I would’ve returned it if I didn’t have to deal with putting the 100 parts back into the box. The other door needs to be slammed in order for it to shut. They have holes to guide you were to put the screws but they are not accurate that’s why the doors either need to be slammed or don’t close at all. ... show more

I purchased the HOME BI Portable lap desk after trying a lap desk that was slightly smaller than my Del Insprion. It was too small for the Surface Pro in or out of its folio case. HOME BI Portable Lap Desk is large enough to use with both my Del laptop and Intel Surface Pro in its folio case with keyboard. The underside is well padded comfortable on my legs and lap. The top of the lap desk has a stop-bar and matte-like finish. These stabilize and grip the Del so it doesn't slide around.     • Perfect lap desk
I am very happy with this lap desk. It's oversized, so perfect for my 15" MacBook Pro with room to spare for a mouse, note pad, pen, etc. and elastic on the corner is a great way to secure a pen from rolling off. The slot on the top fits my iPad or phone. At first I wasn't sure I liked the textured surface, but I see that is provides extra help keeping my laptop from sliding. If I need to write on the surface I just use a few sheets of paper underneath the one I'm writing on and it's fine. The lip that's supposed to keep the computer from sliding forward could be a tiny bit higher so the computer doesn't slide forward if I have the lap desk at a more extreme angle—i.e. if my knees are bent. The only disappointment is that somehow the finish chipped off in a tiny area on the desk surface—don't have any idea how this happened as I've never put anything sharp or rough on that surface....it was perfect, then the chip suddenly showed up. This is not a major problem and doesn't affect the use of the lap desk...just aesthetically annoying since the surface is white and the chip reveals the brown surface underneath. I tried to order a second one for my other home, but was disappointed to see that it is out of stock. ... show more
