I was worried about ordering this chair due to the reviews, but decided to order it anyway. They have made great improvements to this chair. The legs are now made of black heavy duty metal, and each leg has four holes to secure it. They provide an Allen wrench and plenty of heavy duty screws. The massage works great! It’s a nice intensity and has lots of functions. It took me about 10 minutes to secure the feet, and attach the arms. The fabric isn’t the best quality, but at this price point that’s to be expected. AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE, VUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE RETURN WAS A DREAM! SELLER RESPONDED WITHIN HOURS ON A WEEKEND, AUTHORIZED FREE PICK UP BY FED EX SAME WEEK. UNLESS THE MASSAGE IS IMPORTANT, OR YOU ARE OVER 5'9", THEY STILL ARE PRICED WELL! 👋😐 My wife bought two chairs, both of which had a defective nut for one of the 4 feet to screw into, there was simply no way to screw those feet bolts into the bottom of each chair. Rather than going through the hassle of boxing the chairs back up & sending them back, I used an 8 mm tap to properly thread each of the two defective nuts, fixing the problem. Otherwise the chairs were reasonably easy to assemble, although the instructions were a little vague when it came to sliding the seat back onto the base as there are two spring clips you have to pry out a bit to accomplish this task. A couple of the feet on each chair have sizeable paint runs, which are quite obvious when you hold them in your hand, but once the feet are installed you probably wouldn't notice. The chairs look nice, and are reasonably comfortable to sit in. However, the chairs are smaller than expected, I am 5' 9" tall and my feet hang well off the foot rest, so these chairs are best suited for individuals who are perhaps 5' 7" tall and under. The recline mechanism is ok, feels solid. Time will tell how this holds up with daily use. I was rather disapointed with the heat vibration settings. The Heat function, after about 10 minutes, achieves a mildly warm level, which is not surprising considering how small the power supply is. The vibration settings, are kind of weak it seems the components that create the vibrating effect are perhaps too deep inside the back rest to truly be effective? Sure it buzzes, pulses and so forth, but as my father in law described it, "feels like I am laying on my cell phone while it's in vibration mode" and that was on the highest level. Seems to be more effective while in fully reclined mode, but it's still not very impressive. ✋Do not expect to get even close to the same vibration effect you get from the more expensive chairs on the market. 👉You will most certainly get better results with a $30 - $50 back messager and a $20 hot pad. Overall, [ for such a low price ] these are decent chairs. They do look nice, & my wife likes them as they better fit her 5' 7" height. ... show more

Assembly was the only good thing about this chair, I am sorry to say. I shopped for months looking for a good chair to purchase for my back pain and boy did I mess up on this purchase. I went with this chair because of the heating and massage features. WELL! If you can sit in it long enough with the seat being as hard as a rock, maybe you can enjoy the heat. As far as the massage, if you use it, you will vibrate the body of the chair loose from the back right leg, which is constantly unscrewing. There is nothing comfortable about this chair. I know I didn't pay a fortune for this chair but, being on Social Security I just couldn't. So hoping by the reviews I would at least be getting something beneficial in the heat and massage options for the constant severe pain in my back it would make the purchase worth it. But I'm afraid there was no such luck. Not only is it the most uncomfortable chair ever, but I'm afraid to sit in it. No matter how many times I tighten the back leg, it still refuses to stay screwed in to the body of the chair even if I don't use the massage option. The left arm also keeps coming loose from the body and back of the chair. It's about three to four inches loose from the rest of the chair. No matter what we do it comes loose. I like the fabric. The actual chair feels like it can come apart. The sides are wobbly and the chair doesn’t fully recline. The massage mechanism is very weak and doesn’t feel like much. Not happy.
