Everything about this product was very good. My elderly aunts chair broke, and she needed one quickly to help her get up but she didn’t want to spend a lot of money. We went on Amazon and pretty quickly found one that looked nice for a very good price and ordered it and it came two days later. The company was very good about letting us know that it was coming in two packages, and they might be separated, but not to worry. Well, they came at the same time and everything was in very good shape, and was fairly easy to put together. It was remarkably quiet as far as reclining and coming up to help her stand. Be prepared that one box is heavier than the other, and we used a dolly to get it in the house. This was during Christmas shipping season when I was very impressed that it took only two days with no delays to arrive. I , personally, thought it was very comfortable and my aunt is happy with it ! ... show more

I went to furniture stores in my area and minimum for one of these chairs was $1000. My dad had an ankle surgery and could not put any weight on his foot, and he other knee needs to be replaced so getting him out of a chair was almost impossible. I found this gem at a very reasonable price and bought it on a whim. Now my parents fight over the chair! It is super comfortable and while my dad was recovering he would regularly sleep in this chair when it was flat. Might need to get one for mom too and toss the old couch. ... show more

My wife has developed some movement problems, so the raise option is ideal. One of the protective covers on the back steel supports was broken, but they are removed for assembly anyway. There was a big dint in the package box, but the product is undamaged.
