After 2 nights using these supports, I will say it's the best $21 I've ever spent. Our mattress is higher-end but several years old--and suddenly getting out of it is actually painful. These do exactly what I needed them to - I have a bad back and I travel a lot for work. Sagging hotel beds that aren't as firm as I need them to be to begin with are not helped by not being flipped and rotated on a regular basis. I would get up in the mornings and barely be able to walk - it only got worse the more nights in the offending hotel bed. I purchased these and have not had a problem since. I usually only use two of them under the mattress where my lower back is and they provide enough support to firm up any bed I've encountered enough for a good night's sleep and pain free mornings. I got a couple of bungee luggage straps and roll them up to make them take up less space in my suitcase. The foam has discolored a bit with age and temperature exposure in the cargo hold, but the integrity of the foam and support it provides has not been compromised. I've used these more than a year now and I highly recommend for a low cost, low hassle remedy to saggy or soft mattresses. ... show more

While I am happy that a pad worked well, I don't understand why there are only 2 in the pkg. You can see 3 in the photo and it says 3 in the description. Am I supposed to cut one in two? There are 2 identical pads in the pkg. So just beware. If you need 3, you're getting 2.

Right now I'm feeling like this is the best $20 I could've spent. My partner was telling me we should buy a new mattress but it's only 6 years old so that was a no go for me. Figured I would chuck some money at it to see if we couldn't get a few more years out of it. I was dubious that these would work. They don't look like much. I just stuck these cushions under the problem area at the edge of the mattress and WOAH! I didn't realize how much tension was in my back until I started feeling it melt away.
