I've tended to lean towards well-known brands that I am familiar with, so I hesitated to order as I have never heard of this one. The reviews were good and I have had such trouble finding one that works well but is also comfortable to use. I am in my late 60s, have arthritis in both hands and the last recent electric knife I bought was so hard to use, the buttons set up awkward. This electric knife is awesome, slices with no effort, meat does not get stuck in between the blades, it's not heavy to hold and best of all, it is so comfortable to operate re how the buttons are positioned. Comes in a sturdy cardboard box and includes a large serving fork and two sets of blades, one for meat and one for breads. Just carved the breast meat from a 20lb turkey, came out perfect. Used for the first time to cut beef brisket and the knife cut very well. Was a little skeptical at first, however, read more about the knife. I believe it is German made and I’m a firm believer that German made products are made well.

The description clearly states 11in blade. They are including the 4 1/2 in that are inside the handle. The actual blade length is not quite 6 1/2 in. For me the reason to pay more was the longer blade. So I’m returning this.
