Pros: Super comfortable, soft, lightweight and the color is beautiful. It took less than 5 mins to get the legs in. Very sturdy. The weight limit is confusing because the listing says 250 in some places and 500 in others. I'm 280 and feel perfectly fine in it. I wouldn't be flopping down or anything but sitting and watching a movie for a couple hours and I didn't feel any movement or shifting of the frame. Cons: quite short. If you're over 5'5" it's going to feel pretty short in the back support. I'm 5'7" and the "head rest" hits my shoulders. The directions for the support bar were so confusing because it had holes like it was going to be screwed in. I finally realized the meaning of card slot and ran my hands along the bars for the feet. There is a slot for each end of the bar so that it curves down and cradles the seat when you sit down. Once the bar is stretched into the slots it is tight and snug and nothing moved out of place even when flipped upside down. It would be nice if they'd included better picture instructions or a video demo or something because I've seen a lot of reviews that didn't figure it out. Overall it's a really good chair, I'm not sure it's worth the price yet, I'll see how it holds up during use, but for now it's a nice addition to the living room. ... show more

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN SO FREAKING ANGRY AT INSTRUCTIONS OH MY GOD. The instructions that came with it are not only confusing and missing things, but the literal picture in the first step is wrong. Go on youtube and watch the instruction video instead, it's easy that way. Chair is comfortable and nice, but definitely smaller than you'd expect. If you're short this chair might suck-- I'm 5'2" and the cushion on top uncomfortably pushes my head forward. I have to sit up straight for this not to be an issue (and at that point why am in a relaxing chair). If you're shorter than me, maybe reconsider. There's also barely enough room for me to sit in. If you're looking for a wide cozy chair this isn't gonna be it for you. The pictures make it look wider than it is: the sides and back are actually pretty structured, so it's a lot less room to physically sit in than expected. It's really comfortable material, but not able to squish around like it looks. You'll probably be sitting up pretty straight in this chair. ... show more

The chair easily assembled (74 years old) and sat in my smaller bedroom which serves as a library/computer room for months. One night, I decided to turn the computer screen and watch a video sitting in my chair pampered with a matching footstool. I also ordered a small pillow which fits neatly into the lumbar region of the chair for further comfort. Well...I'm going to have to stop using this chair. The chair is so comfortable that I fall asleep during the videos and wake up an hour later. If I try to read, I incur the same result. I read for an hour and wake up another hour later. Or else I just need a great deal more sleep than I imagine. In any case, use at your own risk if you want to stay awake!! ... show more

I absolutely love this chair (Dark Atroviren) It is very comfortable and beautiful .The only issue I have with it is that it isn't as dark as shown in Amazon photos. This is the second one I ordered and the first one shipped to me was more like a sky blue. I had no issues returning the first one. I live exceptionally rural, I love being far away from other humans. However, that means I have cell reception in one tiny place in my house. As my daughter and I have 4 hour calls, I needed a comfortable place to sit, especially with arthritis in my back. At 61, sitting cross-legged on the floor was getting old. Fast. So I got this chair. My taste doesn't run to modern furniture, but this one was wasn't too ugly in the picture, so I got it and the ottoman. It took about 2 minutes to assemble. Super easy. It's light weight but, wow! it's it sturdy. The blurb said it holds up to 500 pounds, I have no trouble believing that. My husband is 200 pounds and he said it's super stable. The fabric is so soft I find myself petting it while on the phone, and I'm a soft-freak. I wish I could describe how comfortable it is to sit in. I literally sit in it for hours at a time and I never become uncomfortable. Even with the ottoman, I never feel the metal frame under me. This is an excellent chair set. Shipping was ultrafast, assembly was a breeze. It's light enough for me to easily move without ever thinking about it, and I'm old and in pain a lot. I cannot believe it was so inexpensive.
