These plastic clips were extremely difficult to use. The tab that holds the suspenders in place must be pulled forward, then it sticks out and gets in the way as the clips are placed. The groove that goes over the fabric is narrow and inflexible, so it took several attempts to secure the clip in the right place and close the plastic tab securely, fastening the clip to the fabric. Also, the plastic does not feel as secure as the metal clips on other models. I own several pairs of Holdup Suspenders with the original metal clip design. They are fantastic -- easy to use, they hold the fabric securely and look great. I hope that the "black patented grip" will not replace the earlier metal clips. ... show more
