WASTE OF MONEY - This coffee maker was delivered 1 month, 12 days ago. When first tried we liked how fast and efficient it made a good cup of coffee. Now, less than 2 months later it has gone bonkers. Shortly after pressing "start" it starts steaming, building up to a very dense level of steam. The entire upper portion becomes quite hot and only about one quarter of a cup of liquid is produced. Most of the water remains in the tank. After a couple of times unplugging it and trying again, with the same results I decided to scrap it fear it might be a fire hazard if left unattended. DO NOT RECOMMEND ... show more

Great for K Cup & I've had it 7 years now, bought my brother in law one 3 years ago & he Said still works Great! only thing is I tried a Pod instead if my K cups & it clogged it up. Its always worked great, Perfect until I tried A Pod. Slowed it down I'm going to buy another one as it lasts so long. Won't use pods.Not 2 small n not 2 large perfect size! ... show more

This one-cup coffee maker works fine.......been using for 3 months so far. The unit seems "fragile" but so far working fine. There are some problems, but I view them as minor, you can be the judge: 1) The finished coffee/tea is very warm/lotw hot. I like it piping hot, so I put my cup in the microwave for about 30 seconds power level 7 2) It's a bit messy. After brewing a cup, the unit tends to retain some coffee and it drips down. I prevent drip by placing a custard cup, small container on the pad where the cup goes, then remove used pod and pod container. Wash or rinse out the pod container, then put in back in the Bella for next time. A bit of trouble but very minor headache. I gave it 4 *'s becAuse of the messiness and I've only been using for a few months. This product is way less expensive than alternatives and so far works fine ... show more

This thing really steams up! Not sure if ya can see the steam. Kcup maker behind it is considered small so this is the real munchkin of ‘em all! It’s for a travel bag and takes 2 minutes to deliver a Very hot cup. Hope it stays that way! Pics are 4” regular cup, 4” wide mug, and large 5” souvenir type cup w/ rubber base mat lift removed. That’s the largest possible. Thrilled! Thanks!!! Edit: Just needs a good press to close. It’s fine.. Second Edit: I purchased a second one of these for a housewarming gift coupled with the matching toaster. It does not work. Heating element not right. It’s going back. I tested the first one above that worked fine n then packed it away for traveling. 🤞 50/50 chance I suppose… toaster is great though! ... show more

just delivered a half hour ago. I've already made a cup of coffee, it brewed beautifully! the lid had to have a heavy hand to close properly, but I've had a Bella before, so I expected it. Took less than a minute to brew. will recommend!!

UPDATE: Yes this makes a quick cup of coffee, but it will be weak when using grounds or Kcup. The water is pushed through so quickly that the flavor is weak. You cannot adjust the filter basket with more coffee, it is too small. ORIG VIEW:I had another Bella one cup coffee maker, lasted 2 years which I guess is the norm, used every day sometimes 2x a day. I assumed (!) that the new model would be of pretty much the same quality. The design is awful. First off, yes the reservoir will hold 14 oz. of water, BUT the grounds basket/filter is SO small you cannot add enough coffee for a 14 oz. cup, not even a 12 oz. Even an 8 oz cup is weak but could just be my preference. The area to fill the water is like 1.5 inches wide, water goes everywhere vs. the old one where you had 5 inches. The space between the drip plate and the dripper is only 4 3/4" or 5" if you remove the rubber dripper. The old unit had 6 1/2", now I can't use my coffee cups. If you remove the rubber dripper, the bottom is way to slippery and narrow. Even then with the short height, the top of the coffee cup can get caught on the dripper area, very inconvenient. The old model had a removable recessed area for excess drips, this one does not, just a grooved rubber piece that spills when you remove it, and it's not flat, it's curled. It's a nice-looking unit, but the plastic is much cheaper than the old model. The only good feature is the auto shut-off. I could return it, but I needed one asap, so will update later. I don't like weak coffee so we will see. Definitely not worth the price of $34, there are many more regular sized coffee makers out there for that price. So disappointed. Did not buy it for travel, but for my kitchen. It does have a two-year warranty. I've always liked the Bella brand in the past. UPDATE: Have used 2x, the water heats very fast and you do not get much after-drip which is good. The lid is too difficult to open and close as opposed to the old one, almost flipped it over. But I did upgrade to 2 stars. ... show more
