This is a nice little hoe for removing weeds. I have a very large area in my yard that has a lot of weeds. This hoe is a little short so I hope I won’t be stooping too much.The weight is nice and light. The quality is very good. I had a very easy time assembling it. I like the little wrench and extra nut and bolt that comes with it. I bought this hoe because I have another hoe that is very similar but I wanted to alternate use for the most effective removal of the weeds. This should maximize the functionality of these tools.

This hoe/cultivator requires assembly to attach the business end of this garden tool and comes with everything you need to accomplish that, including a special tool. The bolt doesn't tighten all the way, and at first I thought this might be a defect, but the instructions actually state you should tighten as far as you can. So . . . this was an indication to me that the tool is designed to have some slight play between the blade and the handle for ergonomic reasons maybe?? Anyway, the tool performs effectively in use in the garden. It's fairly lightweight and easy to use and doesn't fatique my arms and hands when using repetively, which is important to me with my arthritis.

My husband needed this and loves the ability to lengthen or shorten the pole depending on the area he is working. He can work now without bending over as much, he has a bad back and this is a game changer for him. I think the weight on this is great as it is lighter weight and easier for me to use. This is very easy to put together and is a strong tool even though the handle is in separate pieces. I think this is a good price for a versatile tool.
