This is one of my favorite blended drinks, we use it in the coffee shop where I work so I figured I’d buy some for home on Amazon. I am disappointed however, because the bag I received already expires in April of 2019, and was produced in April of 2017. Why am I getting a really old bag? I’m sure I can use up the contents within the time frame but that has been bugging me since I opened the package. Flavor Name: Matcha Green Tea
If you're looking to replicate that Starbucks flavour, in my opinion, keep looking. While this matcha is entirely delightful, smooth, and just gosh darn tasty, it's a bit different than the Starbucks sort. Personally, I prefer this, though I'm likely a little biased. I have only ever prepared it hot so far. I use about half the powder as recommended for the iced recipe (given hot does not have ice melting into and diluting it), a little more or less depending on the sweetness I want. It stirs in well to boiling water (the variety I bought from my grocery store before this was a bit of a battle to keep it all from separating slightly) and is flavourful enough that way I have yet to even consider using milk. I'm sure one day I'll try it cold with oat or rice milk, and I'm sure it will be delicious, because it's some gosh darn good powder. My package had been produced within the last four months and is good for another year or two (can't remember, but it's more than enough time); it offers both the manufacture and expiration dates. For those concerned about storage given it does not possess a ziploc closure, when I first received mine I simply emptied it into a tupperware and tossed in an old applesauce container for scooping. Does the trick for me. Absolutely ace product and will be buying again and again as I need. ... show more

Honestly it's an ok matcha if you're used to only drinking matcha frappuccinos. I used half the recommended amount and it was still insanely sweet. It tasted more like vanilla powder with a little matcha thrown in. If you like the way matcha tastes, I wouldn't recommend. If you just drink super sugary Starbucks frap or coffee bean iced latte/frap you'll probably like this. ... show more

This is my second order of this green tea latte mix. It tastes exactly what I was able to order in coffee shops when I lived in Seoul, so I will always keep this in stock in my house. That said, I also like it because I have an auto-immune disorder so many processed foods I cannot eat, but this stuff does not trigger a flare; so if you are living with an AID, this is a good option. ... show more

I'm obsessed with matcha anything. I figured I would give this a try! It tastes great, but it tastes only of vanilla. There is no matcha taste. It's good, and I will drink the rest, using it as a base for my wheatgrass/mushroom powder, but I'm likely not to repurchase. The product is good, just not matcha at all. I mixed with unsweetened original almond milk and it was incredibly sweet too, so if you're sweet-sensitive, I'd avoid or heavily dilute this. ... show more

Worst matcha powder ever. Tastes like pure sugar and no matcha flavor. So basically green sweetener. Disgusting. And gritty. If I could give less than 1 star I would. In case you don’t actually like matcha you just want to pretend that you do and too much sugar is your thing and you’re planning to buy it anyways, know that the bag is not resealable, nor does it stand up. So plan to empty it into a different container (i used tupperware before I realized I will not be drinking this ugh) ... show more

I've bought the Wild Tribe Moka in the 3-lb can for quite some time, and after trying different brands, I can honestly say it's by far my favorite blended coffee. Unfortunately, the can apparently is no longer available, so I ordered the bag. First, it's 3 freaking pounds, but the bag is not resealable; second, they've decided to leave out the scoop, even though the instructions are to add 2 scoops. So, basically, another company has decided my convenience is less important than an extra few cents in their pockets. I happened to have kept a scoop from a previous can purchase, and I've transferred the mix to an OXO pop-top container, but that means I don't have the package to check instructions, ingredients, etc. This would have been a 5-star review based on how well I like the mix itself. I love matcha iced lattes from the coffee shops. Unfortunately this doesn’t taste anything like those. I have bought at home mixes before and was very pleased but this doesn’t taste like authentic matcha tea.
