We put this product into a 25 inch opening in the office/bedroom and it fit like a dream. It was easy to assemble but suggest putting it up on a table to save on the knees and back. Also suggest using a good 4MM Allen wrench. They provide one currently for this product but use a good one and save on the fingers. It will be used for storage of light articles and disappears into the opening. This is not a show piece of furniture. The veneer is the thinnest I've ever seen and it was not exactly put onto the fiberboard with any thought of "no" wrinkles. The handles are very cheap plastic but could easily be replaced. For the price and our needs it will be fine. Quality of the product itself is about a 3 star rating. ... show more

TLDR: fairly sturdy, hardware is lacking. Purpose: bought for kitchenet area in a barn. Packaging: It arrived in a fairly sturdy cardboard box, and the pieces were protected by cheap polystyrene foam boards. Very messy, but it does its job. Parts: It comes in pieces, particle board with a laminate on top of it, backing, bag of assembly hardware, and a instruction manual. The boards themselves were in fairly good shape, I only had on with a chipped edge, and it was a back underside piece, so not visible. The backing was far thicker than I had thought it would be, and had the same laminate layer as the boards. All in all, I actually liked the quality of these, no major defects or problems with them. The manual is fairly easy to understand, and it is not a complicated assembly if you take the time to read it an familiarize yourself with the process and pieces before you begin. The hardware is where I had the issues: The spring pins it uses as rotating hinges seem a little flimsy, made with a plastic barrel and small metal pin pushed up by a spring. I had three come apart during door installation. They snapped back together easily, but do not make me feel confident in their durability. The screws to hold the top and bottom were too short for me to feel safe using. It has six screws to hold the top and bottom together, but the screws barely extended into the top from the bottom. I wound up replacing the four corner ones with barrel nuts and M6x45 bolts. And finally, the handles are near worthless. First they are cheap flimsy plastic. I could forgive this, but the hardware provided to attach them, did not fit them. I double checked the instructions, looked through everything provided, and even dug through the packing foam to see if I missed something. The bolts were larger than holes in the handle. I had no screws I had missed or anything. I wound up going to the local hardware store and picking up the cheapest bag of compatible handles I could find. Almost exactly the same but made of metal, and with bolts that fit. The construction itself is pretty solid. The particle board doesn't feel cheap or loose, and has some heft to it. If you have the hardware available to fix any issues, or provide upgrades, its a good deal. If I needed another pantry cabinet, I would consider this one, but would keep in mind there would be things to fix and replace to make it safe and/or usable. ... show more

This is not a solid wood custom built cabinet. It's cheap particle board from Malaysia that you put together and pray you have all the pieces and the holes line up while you try to make sense of picture only instructions. It's not for the weak or the rich. Once you accept that, you can see the beauty in this. It's under $200, and it sturdy and pretty enough to serve it's purpose. I now have matching cabinets and more storage in my kitchen and I love it! I was able to put this together myself with little help from my fiance. I like putting things together and have experience from other build yourself furniture. This is definitely one of the easier things I have built once I got past being overwhelmed by all the pieces because it looks intimidating. There were a few pieces here and there that I put on upside down or backwards, and it's sturdy enough to take the screws out and redo it. On the small microwave cart: the only flaw I noticed was that the board was chipped.. not a big deal, I don't even remember where it was. On the cabinet with doors:, the top doors don't line up evenly because of where the predrilled holes are. But everything open and shuts just fine, I don't notice it too much anymore. On the tall microwave cart with glass doors on top: I had to get the fiance to drill in the screws and stuff that secures the glass because there were no prefilled holes. It was an easy job for him and the glass is very secured to the doors now. Overall: I would buy again I am impressed They look nice and function well Can't beat the price point ($100-200 per cabinet) Accept that it's not going to be perfect ... show more
