My product arrived but it will be after the return period before I can build the stand for it. That said I opened it up to make sure it works. The box was fine but the top of the unit itself was dented meaning it was damaged in the packaging process. I can overlook that since it’ll be recessed in the stand I’m going to make. It’s not stated in the description or pictures from the seller but the opening at minimum is 34 1/4” x 16 1/2”. Make sure if you go the same route that you leave some space to vent on the top otherwise the safety feature will shut it off on you. There was a loose screw inside that I had to get out by removing the back panel. No big deal but I couldn’t find where it may have come from. Maybe an extra that fell in during the manufacturing process. I let it run for a few minutes and it seemed to kick out the heat required. The remote seem flimsy and you have to point it directly in the upper right hand corner of the fireplace to work. Other than that, it works fine. Overall it works as intended so the minor flaws I can easily overlook. ... show more

This is great! Just to note. The interior frame dimensions are spot on, but the plug is on the right side, so if you sliding it into a tight frame like me you will need to make sure you add half and inch on width so the cord can slide in the frame. It really is great.

I like how many options there are, however the remote needs to be pretty close (even when we changed batteries). And the flames are pretty small, not like shown on site pictures.

iThe fireplace allows you to choice if you wanted it recessed or wall mounted. Also it allows you t change the flames different colors of the rainbow. These fireplaces also produce a good am out of heat and I barely have to use any of my homes heati when suing these electric fireplaces.

The media could not be loaded. Over past year my wife and I have been considering getting a LED electric fireplace for our living room. I came across this 31-inch Electric Fireplace from Hocookeper and decided to request it and try it out. Pros: - Easy to setup and use. The instructions are limited but it was pretty intuitive on how to setup and use this fireplace. - 3 different heat settings (off, low and high) that gives you the option to turn off the heat. - 144 different color combinations with the flames and stones turning different colors (12 and 12 so 144 total combinations) - Good size fireplace but very lightweight so it's not too heavy to hang on the wall (which is what I did) - Comes with bracket and wall anchors for hanging on the wall (which is what I did) - Remote works well from even across the room. - Fan is quiet on both low and high settings. - Does a fairly decent job of heating up our living room (wife gave it a try and loved it!) Cons: - The metal of this unit feels very flimsy. It's most likely to keep the weight down but be careful when moving and hanging it so you don't damage or bend any of the metal. - Instructions were very basic and not easy to understand at first. - Doesn't come with an app so if you lose the remote you need purchase another one. This is a huge negative in my mind as almost everything else with LED in my home (and even my vehicles) has an app. With all this being said I really like this LED electric fireplace for what it can do. But I feel with some of the limitations and no app to control the fireplace only deserves a 4 out of 5-star rating. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Whenever I am installing an electric device that emits heat, I want to ensure it's a secure fit without any room for error. A number of scenarios could occur if it were to get bumped or jarred. None of which I need or want. I installed this fireplace heater according to the wall mount instructions. No need to remove the glass front when using this method like I did before reading there were two different mounting options. Simply remove the mounting bracket attached to the back of the heater and mount it to the wall. Then you place the heater onto the extended lips. These extended lips are the only thing holding the heater on the wall. Yes, the lips are slanted in the up position to add more security. I however am not crazy about the rocking motion when I press on the top of the heater. The different color selection is not a feature I am a fan of. I would prefer it to resemble a real fireplace and other than that, this heater functions without flaw and instantly produces warm air. ... show more
