So I bought this as an "inbetween" frame as I was planning on getting a bigger bed soon,because my current mattress was dented in places. When I got this frame I threw my old box xpring out, Which i found is what was really dented, and put the mattress straight on this frame and I think the mattress has been smoothed out. THE CROSS BARS ARE METAL as well!!! Great Great Value for the price. Very sturdy, not noisy, (atlest on carpet) Can fit a regular sized tote under the bed. It is quite high, but I love that, and so will my kiddos Im buying the other ones for... however it does take some climbing into bed so may not be a great hight for someone older or a real small child. also noted its too high for my yorkie to jump in and out of without stairs, this is a positive for me as I dont want him in my bed, but he will have to have stairs for my kids' beds if he sleeps in there.

I love that it was easy to assemble and I was able to use my old headboard with this bed frame. It is very sturdy and the mattress fits perfectly. I did have to add some side support so that the mattress would not slide off. Besides that it is a great buy.

Excellent value for the money. Shopped around for weeks trying to decide on a bedframe for our king sized bed. Assembly was incredibly easy and fast. Husband is 6'4" and I'm 5'2" - we ordered the 18" frame and it's perfect for his height, a bit tall for me. I have to do a little jump to get into bed, which is fine normally but painful during postpartum recovery. I'm using a stool for the time being. Had the frame for about 6 weeks now and there's no squeaking so far, it also does not slide around on our faux wood (laminate) flooring. I do recommend using floor pads underneath just for added protection to your floors. 5 star rating from me! Will update review if anything changes.
