I have a few compliments and a few complaints about these. They are sturdy and well built, compared to a flimsy wall shelf I bought from the same manufacturer. Ignore all the reviews complaining they don't fit. OF COURSE your walls need to be 90 degrees for a corner shelf to fit. If you have questions about that, take something else that is perfectly square and put it in your corner to make sure it touches both walls at the same time. That being said, I was annoyed the put stickers on both shelves that were extremely difficulty to get off. My biggest complaint is the screw placement. They put only two screw holes in the back corner of the thing, which are totally inadequate to support it. I had to use a countersink drill bit to make two more holes closer to the outer edge. They also gave very cheap screws that were silver, and would have looked terrible against the brown shelf. Fortunately I had some brown screws that looked much better. If you don't want to make these modifications, this isn't the shelf for you. With the modifications I'm happy, if annoyed I had to make them. ... show more

Despite my best judgment from reading the other reviews, I decided to purchase these and was hoping that I would luck out.... well I didn't and after 2 attempts to make it work, I gave up and returned both sets. The first set arrived with one shelf completely cracked through with the shipping box being poorly packed. I requested a replacement and when the second set arrived, neither of the shelves fit flush with the corner in our living room. We even tried other corners and sure enough the shelves were too small to even be mounted properly! Don't waste your time or energy!! ... show more

My bed has drawers underneath, so night stands weren't an option, but two pairs of these shelves made a great substitute! Installing them level and at the same height in both corners was a time-consuming challenge, particularly since the corners of my bedroom aren't perfect right angles. Great product but I added a hole on the side wall and back wall edges towards the end and used anchors their too. It was then I discovered it’s less than 90 degree square so it’s not perfect. I would still do this with anchors just make sure your visible edge is tightened flush and then do the back one as far as you can with out pulling the shelf out of the other wall ... show more

I decided these would look great in my house for holding up some rear speakers in my living room. My house is an older home with hardwood floors and a lot of other wood accents. I needed something that would look right in the room. I know someone said in one of the Q&As that it should hold 10lbs and the speakers are just under that. I decided to make a couple modifications though. It only comes with two screws in the corner for holding it up and I wanted secure it a little more than that so I did add a couple more screws to it to hold it to the wall. I also added a hole in the back corner to bring the speaker wire up through. It being all wood it made me easy for me to make the holes then use a stain marker to clean up the holes so it would still look nice. ... show more

Finally finished painting first before installing. The weight seems very strong. Some of the corners had color chipped off, had to retouch. If your corner is not Exactly 90 degrees you will need to shim the excess space away otherwise screws won’t tighten. Very easy to shim.
