Last year, I bought an earlier version of this product and found it incredibly useful for situations where I needed to record speakers for learning content I develop. That product delivered clear, crisp audio. I saw that there's a newer version and it has a fantastic improvement over the earlier version: rather than have two separate receivers, one with USB-C and the other with Apple lighting connectors, this version comes with ONE integrated receiver that has an headphone jack, lightning, plus USB-C and an adapter to use for USB-C. This means I can plug the receiver into any phone, my work laptop, my macbook pro and pretty much anything that will record. (I can even plug it into my Go-Pro!) This is a game changer, especially as it doesn't limit good clear audio to being in a studio with a desktop microphone setup! These microphones come in a nice compact case, so I have it tucked into my laptop bag and placed the older one in my DSLR/video bag. I've had a few occasions at work where we had last minute client requests to attend events where we needed to capture a speech from leadership. This product makes it possible to get the person speaking, instead of hoping that the people around me stay quiet while the speaker is talking. The tiniest quibble. I could use the old lightning receiver with my phone case on, but the larger receiver won't completely plug into the lighting jack when my case is on the phone. Not a deal breaker and overall, not going to be a problem since this product makes it possible to put my phone in my pocket while recording. If you're thinking of starting to vlog or want to stop using the tiny condenser mic on your phone or video camera when you're recording video, you will be happy to have these microphones.

I bought these because I attempted to use the mic on my AirPods and the sound was horrible. Overall I would say that I do love the product. I find that using the puffy cover allows for less air to touch the mic. I would also recommend that you speak a smidge softer than you think you should. I never clip it to my clothes, although you can. I just hold it. I find that it sounds better that way.

Havent used the in the field yet but the tests at home were great. We sat the recording a good distance away from the mic to test and it was still great sound. We attempted to use it once for an on-location interview and the adapter that plugs in was dead even though it was charged overnight. Could have been a clerical error on our part so we will try it again. But so far seems like it should work out great.

This microphone had a great quality and sound. I use it for YouTube and I love how clearly you can hear my voice even from a good distance. It’s very easy to set up and very easy to use. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone.

I got this product for use in live feeding my bands performances. I haven't found the right place for the microphones yet, but I feel they'll work well once I do.

The media could not be loaded. My 12yr old son loves this microphone. I couldn’t even get it away from him for the first two weeks. It’s has very easy set up and pairing. You don’t have to talk very loud. It’s got a ton of different connection points. I did not try the USB-C connection but I did use the 3.5 jack (it doesn’t fit everywhere) and the Apple lightning connector on my iPhone 13 pro. There is also the ability to plug-in an aux cord into the back of the device and run it to whatever 3.5 jack receiver you want (very handy). I have used a portable speaker and my sound bar. It seems like you could probably use it with an Alexa if it had a 3.5 jack on it. When I used it with my phone, I made an audio recording and the sound quality was definitely better than me just talking into my phone. It does come with two microphones and two types of windscreens each. I’ve not tried the fuzzy ones, just the standard ones and they were fine. It also comes with a case to hold it all and a charging cord. The only warning I would give is the sound quality largely depends on the type of speaker that you use. I have about $100 JBL speaker and the sound quality is way better than on the cheap $20 speaker I have. It also sounded better on my sound bar than dead on my JBL. So as long as you have a decent speaker it can be very useful.
