I had the same canopy for ten years. It was amazing and even after it was broken, was still sturdy enough to stay up and be used at work for coverage. This one, I bought for camping and then sat on it for months before actually using it, otherwise I would have returned it. It's cheap and flimsy, don't waste your money, do more research, which is something I wish I had done. (Normally I do a lot of research of bigger items) Hopefully someone takes consideration into what I say. I am pretty honest about my reviews. This tent is really nice looking. The directions for setup were awful, but once we figured out on our own how to open and close the tent we were good to go. The sandbags were empty, which makes sense, but just an FYI. So these are all the positives. The negative is that it's not entirely waterproof. Which, I understand it might not be, but don't be surprised if you put it up in a downpour and it leaks. Overall I would recommend this tent with the caveat that it could possibly leak. ... show more

I've owned others of these and helped friends set up lots more. This one goes up now easily than most and it's very sturdy. It is NOT a one person job but you'll be very happy once it is up. The multiple heights feature is valuable and the tie-downs work well.

So far we are happy with it. Got it for camping, good sturdy item. This item's overall weight was important to me. The frame is heavier thanmost and takes both of us to open. Not difficult! It looks really sturdy however getting the canopy frame locked in with canopy cover is very very hard. I thought I was going to break the frame or tear the fabric so i stopped. I'm 6'3" 270lb trust me when I say it's hard to lock open. Plus when braking it down there is so much tention on the release mechanism, it slams the crap out of your finger. Not sure what the solution is... ... show more
