We used this gate kit to enlarge the opening from an old 36" gate to 6'. It looks great and it is much easier to maneuver the lawn mower through. It was easy to assemble, since we didn't have to cut it to a smaller size. We used the hinges and latch from the old gate, so we didn't have to spend any more money. Since we were resetting the old gate posts, the installation may look a little wonky. But that's no fault of the gate! We're very pleased with the purchase. ... show more

I used 2 of these to add to the size of an existing 12`gate. Made it an 18`gate. Using 4 clamps to connect each side and when it was set, then drill holes thru the top and bottom clamp to secure it. Added a wheel on each side to hold the extra weight. Final product came out nice.

We needed a temporary gate that was four feet wide and six feet tall. This product fit the bill. It was straight forward to assemble. The only gotcha was that when we attached the hinge hardware to a long side, the tube rotated within the short sides. We fixed that by running self-tapping screws into the joints where the rotation occurred. This gate was less expensive by a few dollars than any chain link gate that was available at our local orange home improvement store. ... show more
