This chain is a very good size and has the weight behind it too. The weight of the chain helps it keep hanging in it's correct position while looking pretty darn fly. It's definitely a chunkier chain, but the shine on it makes it look much more expensive than stainless steel. Cleans well, the fastener is adequate for the size, and it comes in a jewellery box, so can make a great gift!

A while back, when I was in Santiago, Chile, a young man grabbed the gold chain I was wearing. I chased him but he got away. What bothered me most was the St. Christopher's Medal hanging from the chain which I'd had since I was a baby. Since then, I'd always wanted to have a fake chain that some thief could steal and I'd get a bit of revenge and so I ordered this one. It looks real enough, not so big that it looks fake but shiny enough that I imagine some thief might want to try to take it. I look a bit like a major league ball player when wearing it, but who cares. I'm not that good fastening clasps behind my head, but this chain is long enough that I can slip it over my head while fastened. Not sure how often I'll wear it, but I like knowing that I can when I want to.

The presentation could use some improvement: the chain came in a plastic zipper bag that was placed inside a small black carton box with the brand name on. As such the presentation feels a little cheap and I would not buy this for gift.

I ordered the 6 mm 22" stainless steel stain. The clasp is stamped with "316L" verifying it is stainless steel. It has a nice weight to it at 1.23 ounces. Ordered this for my teenage son who really likes it and says his friends compliment him on his necklace. He has been sleeping with it and only takes it off for showers and has no skin irriations or anything. Really very inexpensive compared to similar chains. Has a claw type clasp. Very happy with it so far.
