The headboard is beautiful. I’m not a fan of how this is put together though. There are no pre holes to make your life easier. If you don’t have a drill I highly suggest to get one before this arrives. The wood is not shaven down. I got 4 splinters dealing with this frame so make sure you wear gloves. It sat a lot lower than expected. I wasn’t sent the screws or the pieces for the middle to place a mattress on for the first frame in ordered. They sent me a second frame altogether which was a nice gesture, but it was worthless at the same time because I had an extra frame I couldn’t use because I didn’t have screws for it. Could I have bought the screws? Maybe, but as a single mother I don’t have time for all of that. I want what I order to come with everything it’s supposed to in order to set it up. I don’t know anything about hunting for screws and figuring out sizes and shapes. This frame has screws that require an Allen wrench and a Philip head. Oh! But actually having a second frame worked out a bit because I did accidentally cracked a wooden piece that joins the velvet sides of the frame trying to get the screw through it so that other piece was clutch to have. It’s extremely heavy because everything is in the headboard so if you’re not so strong of an individual save your back the problems and get help. Part of the reason my back hurt was not only did I move it myself, but the driver delivered it to the wrong door so it took more to get it in the house. ... show more

I love the fact that the bed is sturdy enough for me to sleep in. And I'm heavy set so I felt extremely comfortable sleeping in it. I was nervous at first because I thought I would need a box spring and I'm still debating on it lol. Overall I do recommend anyone to purchase it.
