blows very cold air. not too loud yet have to turn tv volume up a bit to hear movies. does not have thermostat to regulate temps so i do it manually. even set on eco mode, low fan, at 77 room stays cool. adjustable vents: up/down as well as side to side. remote control included. we'll be able to sleep in loft this summer: without this window unit loft was 95degreesF by noon. definitely recommend! ... show more

This air conditioner does not cool down my small NYC bedroom at all. Set to 64 degrees, medium fan all day with the shades down and the room is still warm even through the night. It is noisy and does not work. Not worth it, buy a cheaper Frigidaire.

The media could not be loaded. First I'll start with the good It functions extremely well . It has plenty of power and has really great airflow . The install instructions were easy to follow . Even a first timer like me had no issues with install and was able to do it quickly . I was surprised . And it's durable , it's installed and feels solid , I'm not worried about it . The temperature controls are are simple and self explanatory , very easy to navigate . Now the bad . And to me this is what makes this a pass . I purchased two in July 2025 4 months later and these things are loud . Annoyingly loud . The sound reminds me of a Cessna powering up for takeoff . And it's both of them . They're so loud that I have no choice but to turn them off . I wish I had spent a little more money and gotten ones a little better quality . I'm assuming it's the quality because the blades inside sound like they're insanely loose . Almost like they don't sit properly and that's where the noise is coming from . The only way they aren't as loud is if you put them on the low setting . But mediym or high , forget about it . The noise is just way too distracting . I'm not sure how customer service is regarding these units but I will be reaching out to them for sure But in the meantime if I were you I'd definitely avoid this model . 4 months is way too soon to be having issues Steger clear of this one ... show more

I ordered this little guy because my central air went out in the middle of the a month long heat wave. It was enough to cool my larger bedroom down to under 70 when it was 90 in the rest of my upstairs. Finally I could sleep good. Vary impressed. I thought about reselling after I got my ac fixed but im keeping it for next time. Would definitely recommend especially if like me you have skinny windows that can’t fit a larger unit. And for the price …forget about it ... show more
