The media could not be loaded. I bought a Hisense TV for my garage, as you can see it hanging on the wall. (I watch TV while I'm detailing my bike or working on other projects.) I liked it so much that when it came time to replace the TV in the living room, I went with Hisense again. I was not disappointed! The Hisense new 'Quantum ULED' has a picture that is better than any other TV at this price point. (I did a lot of research.) The blacks are REALLY black. (I like this for the perceived depth of field.) The colors are super vivid and there are no breaks in gradient, like other TV's in this class. (There are no 'bands' in contrast from light to dark.) The images are crisp and clearly defined. I watch a lot of 4K streaming and the visual experience with this TV is fantastic. It's internet ready and I had no problems connecting it to my home network. It works very well with Alexa. I also like that I have one button access to Prime Video and Netflix. My wife and I like movies and not having to deal with multiple remotes for that is very nice. The voice command feature is convenient and is a lot easier than scrolling through multiple commands using buttons. It has all the wiring connections you could want, to hook it up to your home theater system. I used them all and the sound is fantastic. There is no way that the video I attached to this review can show you how great the quality of this Hisense TV is. But, I hope you get the idea. It's really, really great. There is a switch under the middle bottom of the TV that turns off the red standby light. If you’re like me, this is a huge upgrade as I grew up with 27” cathode ray tube (CRT) TVs in the 80s that you had to bang on the side to work sometimes! Who cares about a big name brand or OLED, this picture will blow your mind! That being said, it seems like streaming devices like the Nvidea Shield Pro and Apple TV do improve the picture and sound but is not necessary. I’ve had this TV for a few years and love it!! UPDATE: Have had the tv for over 2 years now and it is still going strong! I really appreciate the eARC feature as it allows me to connect my HDMI Cacke to my AV Receiver. I must say I did invest in an Nvidea Shield TV Pro as it provides better picture and sound. I only got the Nvidea Shield TV Pro as I am an a Novice Audio enthusiast with a 5.2.4 Surround Sound Setup, so it was worth it to me to increase the picture and sound by about 25% (which is extremely hard to do!). If you are just running this tv with a soundbar I would not recommend upgrading the tv with a streaming device. But if you’re all in with a decent Surround Sound system its well worth the money! Especially if you find one on sale, I got mine for $129 instead of $199 and when compared to the newest apple streaming device there really is no comparison. The apple tv has an interface pleasing to the eye but doesn’t make the sound or picture Pop like the Nvidea Shield. The Rokus really have a habbit of making the commercials very loud so after 3 Rokus I finally learned my lesson!! ... show more

Updating my review on June 4, 2025. Original review text retained below I was originally critical of this set because getting the image dialed in properly was a challenge. I had actxually forgotten that I left a 3-star review but I came across it and thought I should update it to be fair to Hisense. This is the first Hisense product we've ever purchased and 3 years later I'm actually quite happy with the performance of the set, especially following a few over the air software updates that have come through. Google TV works very well, the image quality is pretty solid now (at this price level) and the television has been very reliable in general. I have noticed that having it on for extended periods (like watching football/soccer all day long on a Saturday or Sunday) the panel can develop some weird "stuck" zones with the backlighting maybe? I'm not sure what's causing it but it looks like permanent shadows on the green football field or soccer pitch, but removing the power and fully rebooting the TV seems to clear up the issue. Really that's my only remaining complaint for this particular set. Sure I could get better picture quality but I'd have to spend more money to get it, and this particular TV is in a high traffic area, prone to occasional hazards. It actually replaced another TV that our beloved dog accidentally broke when he playfully flung a nylabone at high velocity directly into the set. So while we have higher end televisions in other parts of our home with better picture quality, I wanted something that provided good enough picture quality at a lower price in case it ever got accidentally damaged, and this Hisense has proven to be a good choice, even though initially I was disappointed. Thank you for the ongoing product improvements, Hisense. I will definitely consider Hisense for future television purchases. <b>ORIGINAL REVIEW</b> <i>I really wanted to like this TV.
