The anti-glare properties are effective, significantly reducing reflections and making the screen much more usable in bright environments. This installed easily and was more forgiving of bubbles, lint etc due to the items in the box and glass material. The most noticeable features for me: 1. Convenient alignment frame included in the box 2. Very pleasant and slick texture, it feels better than the iPad glass in my opinion 3. Shows fewer fingerprints than the iPad glass and is very diffuse in terms of reflections 4. Touch response is just as good as before I installed this protector (no noticeable change) 5. Given that the iPad has no buttons on the front, the camera notch/cutout actually helps me identify the correct orientation when picking up the iPad. The only downside is that the box included a different set of stickers than what's shown in the video. They were mostly the long, thin ones and those weren't strong enough to pick up and hold the glass while aligning and placing it on the iPad. The media could not be loaded. Install is easy with the provided guide and has a very minor texture to it. For some it may not be enough texture but its much better than straight glass. Color difference and screen noise are also minor or not noticeable. And as you can see with the video no glare (please note the slight illumination is from the reflection of my phone) She screen could be a bit brighter while im working outside but its still workable and legible. I bought this to enhance my visual and writing/drawing experience, and it does well in both regards. It mimics a paper-like surface quite nicely, and since it is glass, also adds greater durability than what you would get out of those films that you can stick on. If you're not writing or drawing, it feels nice to touch since your fingers will easily glide with barely any friction. Also, reading stuff is much enjoyable now since there glare is dulled down significantly and the slight desaturation and clarity isn't really that impactful as you'd think. Anyways, what you get in the package are two screen protectors, 4 alcohol wipes to prep the surface, 2 microfiber wipes, and about 6 dust-stickers which isn't bad considering that you may need all of that with how big the screen is versus something like a phone. Towards installation, I did find it a bit trickier than normal since the alignment frame wasn't tightly fitted to the tablet, and I ended up botching the first attempt and trying again with the second one, which finally worked without any residual dust making it under. Bubbles weren't an issue either, with those being super easy to push out or squeeze out of the glass, so the whole installation took me around 5-10 minutes. ... show more

Initial feedback is the matte screen looks like (it does degrade the quality of the screen but that's to be expected with a matte screen). The installation kit, while simple, worked very well to install. I'd buy it again but unlikely to since they include two pieces in the box.

I have always been against matte screens but I finally decided to try them out and oh my god I am blown away with how good it makes my iPad mini look! Reflections are gone and the screen feels so nice when you’re swiping. It’s going to be so nice flying my drone now! This ain’t a paper like screen protector so if you want more paper like feel with your Apple Pencil, this is not it. Colors and brightness looks as good as with glossy screens and there is very minimal change in sharpness, it makes everything a bit softer which I like, I feel like my eyes will strain less from that super sharp text glossy screens have. Also, there are zero finger prints or smudges after using it for a few hours so that’s another big plus! It just makes the iPad look and feel more premium. Get it! I’ve included two picture one of my iPad mini with this screen protector on and and iPad Air with a glossy screen pointed at the same window and you can see the HUGE difference it makes. ... show more

I've always gotten matte covers for my ipads and iphones over the years. Currently my iphone has the zagg cover. This was my first time trying the Mothca and I love it. It really is a matte cover and doesn't reflect hardly any detail. Screen is still sharp and clear. Plus it offers some protection as well over just a screen cover.
