just the right size for smaller "office" (bedroom). Room is less than 120 square feet. This a/c unit is small and fits between furniture. Quiet on low setting, and we love the 1 degree gradients (our older a/c unit goes in 2 degree increments). So far so good. Easy and snug window set up (sash window), tight fit to keep warm/exhausted air out. Remote is easy to use, but the controls are right on top, so we don't use the remote. Cools well. Bought this a year ago as of 3 days ago. It's 90+ out and the compressor doesn't want to kick on. It came to me so broken that I've had to use duct tape to keep it together and replace it every week or 2. The tube won't connect to the part that goes into the window without duct tape and the back brackets for the tube itself on the actual machine are broken off so I have to tape the tube heavily on both sides. The device also came fairly busted on the sides and bottom but didn't seem to matter. Because of all this inefficiency it doesn't do a good job at cooling when it did work. I doubt hypersystems will fix the issue I messaged them about. ... show more

    • 50/50 chance?
I ordered two. One is great! One is junk. Constant E5 (water level full) error. It is completely drained.... so I don't know what to do. I'm hoping I can figure out how to fix it to avoid returning it. Returning will be difficult because the unit is heavy and the packaging is weird. But I guess it would be worth it due to the cost. Update: I changed my rating from 2 to a 4. The company did an easy exchange, and the new one is good so far! Blowing very cold air. I hooked it up with a drain hose so it never has a chance to get stuck on E5. The other one I have is still working perfectly, but I went ahead and hooked it to a drain hose as well just in case. ... show more

Used the unit in a 210 square foot bedroom. Well within advertised limits. It cooled the room; however was barely adequate, and on very hot days, it never really was able to reach the desired temperature. It is a pretty loud unit and randomly turns on and off periodically. I purchased the unit and put it straight to work in August of 2024. It had a fatal sensor error in June of 2026 and quit working entirely. In a world of disposable electronics, two years of operation is not the worst possible scenario, when considering the low cost of the unit. Still, not exactly what I was hoping for. Certainly not great. All things considered, I purchased a new unit from a different maker and have to say that I would not recommend this brand to others. ... show more
