The media could not be loaded. First off, let me be clear here. With a $500 price tag, I consider this a budget TV so perfection was not expected. However, this is the 3rd HiSense tv I have purchased... my little 32" HiSense LCD tv is still going strong in my bedroom after about 15 years. I bought one similar to this for my grandma for Christmas last year and she loves it (I set it all up for her and was very impressed with both the picture quality and the audio quality). This one is no exception, unboxing was fast, installing the feet was as simple as flipping the TV over, setting the feet into place, and screwing in 4 screws. Plugged it in and booted it up and it took me through an install process just like it I were setting up a Firestick for first use. The picture is great and the audio quality is unreal for a flat panel tv. No soundbar is needed unless you like to really feel the bass hitting you. It does not sound tinny at all which is extremely common with these larger flat panel tv's. The only "con" is that the OS is ever so slightly laggy but not enough to make you rip your hair out...just a very slight delay. But again, you're buying a 65" tv for $500 so don't expect absolute perfection. You're getting what you're paying for and this is absolutely worth the money. The attached video is with the volume at I think 12...I didn't see how high it would go but based on the visual indicator, I would bet around 35-40. The bass was better in real-time. My phone doesn't pick up the lows very well.

Given the price point, this is a decent TV. I guess I just thought since I hadn’t bought a new one in 8 years the picture would somehow blow me away. My 8 year old Sony Bravia is still in a storage unit waiting to be shipped so I got this on Prime Day. Perhaps I need to play with the settings more, but thus far I prefer the picture on my old Bravia. I first tried it with the native Fire TV settings, then with an older 4k Roku stick, then finally I dug the Apple TV out of moving boxes. I have to say the picture was markedly better even with the Roku stick. Of course much better once streaming through the Apple TV device. It’s perfectly fine, but I’m currently watching a 4k movie I’ve seen before on my old TV and the picture and colors simply aren’t as good. I have it in “filmmaker” mode for the picture, so perhaps I just need to play around with it more. Don’t get me wrong—for the price point it’s a great TV. I suppose I thought the QLED would make more of a difference, and that tech would have advanced a little more in 8 years. This is a much less expensive machine than a Sony Bravia, so that adage is true—you get what you pay for. And for $350? It’s an outstanding TV. But for a better picture, use a higher end streaming device.

This is honestly the best TV I've ever owned. I was a bit skeptical because I've never owned Hisense TV before, but upon further research it was revealed they made TV's for Sharp and Toshiba. Two brands I've owned so I felt comfortable. All that aside, the images produced by this TV are amazing. I'm still impressed by the way the colors pop and the crispiness of the image. I have an X Box series X and it has made the console an entirely new experience for me. At this price, you can't go wrong. Most TV's with a refresh rate over 60 are going for much more. This TV has top notch performance and is easy to connect to any streaming service.

I'm impressed with the color and picture quality. There are tons of options to change contrast, brightness and color saturation etc. You can choose presets, which worked for me, or manually alter. You just need to look in the menu options. I purchased this for occasional outside use and the brightness is plenty for partially sunny days under a pergola. We've not had full sun on it yet, but I don't anticipate any issues as the brightness isn't anywhere near full yet. As we are moving it around I timed the start up. The start-up from unplugged to plugged in and turned on is about 1 minute. From plugged in and turning on its instant. It's not as slick as my Pixel 9 phone for menu navigation but it's on par with my Samsung TVs so no complaints on using the menu and apps. All my new apps downloaded and installed in a good time. My first Hisense TV and I would definitely recommend this TV/brand.
