abunda_amazon_reviews Great monitor, love the design and clarity. I do wish that the entire stand could be removed for vesa mounting. Not a big deal though because it still mounts. I bought 3 of them for my desktop and they turned out awesome. I linked the stand I bought for them to mount on and it works perfect, able to achieve a perfect curve with it. Mount-It! MI-2789 Triple Monitor Stand Freestanding LCD Computer Screen Desk Mount for 19, 20, 22, 23, 24 Inch Monitors VESA 75 and 100 Compatible Full Motion, 66 lbs Capacity (3 Horizontal Monitor);;Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great Monitors!!;;La Mar;;;The curved screen is the main reason this costs so much, but even with it I still think MSRP is a rip off. The main thing I don't like about it is the pixel response time. It's a VA panel, which are notorious for poor response times, and this is no different. Advertised response times on almost any monitor are a lie, but this one is a bold faced lie(I think they say 5ms...it's definitely not). Manufacturers try to combat this(especially with VA panels) by incorporating an overdrive feature. The "fast" and "faster" response time settings on this monitor, like with most monitors with overdrive, cause inverse ghosting/pixel overshooting. It's especially noticeable on the "faster" setting, you'll notice it with your mouse when hovering across anything dark, and you'll notice it in a lot of games. You can basically eliminate pixel overshooting by using the "normal" response time setting, but then we get right back to the issues that are inherent to VA panels. So you basically have 3 choices: tons of motion blur(normal), some motion blur plus some inverse ghosting(fast), or heavy inverse ghosting with little to no motion blur(faster). This monitor tries to come off as an affordable "gaming monitor" but it's basically a cheap panel with a few extra features thrown in(curved screen, Freesync, monitor overdrive). If you play games that are faster paced, look elsewhere. If you play slower games and want the immersion of a curved screen at a good price...maybe wait until it's on sale. Now...for the people out there who just want a nice curved desktop monitor...this display does have some pretty good color quality. One thing inherently good about VA panels is they typically have far superior contrast ratio and deeper blacks than IPS and TN panels. There is some mild color banding, but nothing compared to what you typically see from a TN panel. I've watched a lot of YouTube and some Netflix with this monitor and it did really well for that. But as I said to the gamers...wait until it's on sale.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2017;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;Half decent but highly overpriced monitor;;ML;;;- I'm a graphic designer, so I care greatly about color accuracy. There are important notes, such as when mounting on a vesa mount, you need to use the spacers so that the bracket doesn't pull on the screen. I would guess that is where a lot of people failed and broke their monitors before turning them on. Just a guess, though. The picture is fantastic! I got these on sale on prime day for $117 each, I wish I would have bought more for my desk and for my wife's desk. The only down side really is there aren't separate buttons, it's a directional pad style button, so it's a bit confusing to use at first.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great monitors!;;Jaron Davis;;;Excellent Monitor, bought two for my computer at home. Just waiting to buy the third to have a full arc of monitors. Just to let you know this unit has the standard Samsung joystick control on the back of it. It can be kind of annoying it to you learn how to use it, but if you have a Samsung LED TV you'll be used to it. This unit does not have internal speakers, but it does have a speaker output in the form of a 1/8 inch mini jack on the back of the unit. The unit is HDMI only, but I solved that issue by getting a display port to HDMI cable to use all ports on my video card. They are cheap, only about $10 US. It does come with its own HDMI cable so you do not have to buy one. Pros: : Well design, good pixels, overall good response time( I only play light gaming not heavy ones). : The power plug has a safe function, makes it harder to unplug by accident. : Nice HDMI cord included. : Good size for a curved monitor, good for watching movies and TV shows on it. : Very thin, you can see in my picture (back LED lights not included) Cons: : The most annoying thing to me is the adjusting angle to the monitor, it either very hard or non-adjustable. : As a result, I have to put a small box under the monitor to increase its height since the height is not adjustable : There are no built-in speakers. : The on/off button is located in the back of the monitor, sometimes hard to reach : The on/off button light is reversed, it lights up when the monitor is off and lights off when the monitor is on. Weird. : The on/off button is like a joystick it has many functions, however, it is sometimes hard to use I prefer the mult-buttons. *I don't hate on the on/off button, but the design just didn't work well for me :P;;Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2018;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Very nice curved monitor for its price (Worth it);;BlueSky21
