My room is pretty small, around 9ft x 10ft. I bought a window kit to make it work with my very tall horizontal sliding window. The kit didn't fit perfectly despite the diameter match so I used duct tape to seal and it all works great. I love that it has a timer, and my room is cooled in about ten minutes. Received in great condition even being refurbished. It was 95 in my studio with two 6ft windows facing open sky of western sun. Had out of box and assembled and into window in minutes. I have top sliding windows, so opened about 4in put in brace for AC tube to connect to, window seal, turned on. Within 45 min my entire studio was like ice box and 90+ outside. It’s quiet and works great only 3rd day but feels great. Going to be different summer this year. ... show more

    • Thermostat is junk
The unit is always kicking on no matter the temp setting. I wasn’t expecting it to be dead on, but I have it set at 80, and it still kicks on when it reads a room temp of 70. The WiFi - can’t get it to work at all - can’t get past step 1 in the setup.
