I recently purchased the Hisense 75-inch U7 Mini-LED ULED 4K Smart Fire TV, and my first impressions have been excellent. My wife and I set it up pretty easily. The picture quality is the biggest highlight. The Mini-LED backlighting produces impressive brightness, deep black levels, and strong contrast, while the Hi-QLED panel delivers rich, vibrant colors without making the image look overly artificial. I like the quality of the remote control, very premium feel and responsive. I have a large window in my room where the TV is set up and the light is directly on the TV all day, this has caused some issues for us for the last TV, but this TV performs especially well in a bright living room. The anti-reflection screen significantly reduces glare from windows and overhead lighting, picture remains clear during daytime viewing. HDR movies and shows look detailed and immersive, with bright highlights that really stand out. Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ also help scenes look more balanced and realistic. Gaming experience and performance is also another upgrade for me, especially the native 165Hz refresh rate and Game Booster mode make gameplay feel extremely smooth and responsive. Fast-moving scenes remain sharp, and the enhanced Game Bar makes it easy to check settings such as frame rate, HDR, and VRR without leaving the game. It is a great match for modern gaming consoles and high-performance PCs. The built-in 2.1.2-channel sound system is better than I expected from a television. Dialogue is clear, bass has some presence, and Dolby Atmos adds a wider, more immersive soundstage. A dedicated soundbar would still provide a more cinematic experience, but the built-in speakers are more than adequate for everyday use. Overall it feels like a premium television that I'm very satisfied with and would recommend it to anyone looking for a large-screen TV that performs well for movies, sports, streaming, and gaming. ... show more

I love how high quality this TV is for such a great price. It is way better than my old Samsung TV. I was well surprised at how sharp the picture quality is and how vibrant the colors are with the ULED display. It was easy to setup and eveything worked. I upgraded from an older 4K TV, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The picture is bright and clear, and the colors look fantastic, especially when watching movies at night. I also watch a lot of sports, and the motion looks very smooth. The anti-glare screen works well in my bright living room, and setup took less than 20 minutes. DELIVERY HORROR STORY BELOW. I've only worked with this new TV a few hours, but so far I'm very pleased compared to the 4-yr-old Amazon FireTV that this replaces. PROS: Great picture! Clear, bright, sharp, no motion blurring. The FireTV support is responsive, and all but one of my apps from the old TV (Xfinity Stream, which is a crappy app anyway) ported over automatically. And it has a center stand, so it fits on my location without having to resort to a separate VESA mount stand. CONS: The built-in sound quality isn't as good as I expected based on the sales info, but my Klipsch soundbar/sub takes care of that. However, the stand doesn't raise the TV body quite high enough, so that the soundbar obscures the Alexa pod and infrared sensor on the bottom of the TV - the stand should be more adjustable for height. HORROR: I ordered this during Prime Days, and paid extra for the delivery/unboxing service - this service is provided by an outside contractor, not by Amazon itself. I was given a delivery schedule of 2 days after the order, a Friday, between noon and 5pm. I changed my schedule to be home those hours, but had dinner plans for later in the evening. The unit didn't arrive by 5, but at 5:30 I got the "Your package is 10 stops away!" notification from Amazon, so I cancelled the dinner plans and continued to wait. About 10pm the tracking info updated to say there was a problem with delivery. :(:( The next morning, I received a call from an Amazon rep (speaking broken English) saying that I wasn't home for the delivery. I explained that I WAS home, and had changed schedule and plans to be here but the truck never showed up. She asked for the earliest 3 days I could be available for delivery, and I replied the next three days (Sunday thru Tuesday.) She replied that she would get it into their system and I would be emailed with the actual delivery date & time window. On Sunday, I received that email, with a schedule of Wednesday. I complained, but to no avail, and after waiting 3 more days, the TV was finally delivered. Here's the kicker: When I asked the delivery guys why it wasn't delivered on the original date, they whined that all the Prime Days orders overloaded them and they "ran out of time", so my and some other orders just got hauled back to the depot without even an attempt to deliver! So let this be a warning: if you buy any large item from Amazon with the delivery/setup service, know that there's a decent chance that you will have headaches, inconvenience and wasted time. ... show more

I have had owned various flat panel TVs over the last 20 years including SONY, PHILIPS, SAMSUNG and VIZIO and this new HISENSE 55 inch U7 is the best so far. As expected, the images are crystal clear but the surprising thing is how it refines the pictures. Beside the superb clarity, the motion is incredibly smooth. The BIG BANG THEORY looks like live video. So do the old rescanned versions of the WAGON TRAIN series and THE WALTONS. The difference has to be seen to be appreciated. My wife can't see it but I do. Old movies on the TCM cable channel look better than ever. DVD's and BluRays look great too. The sound is also better than other flat screen sets we have owned. No where comparable sound to my old wooden 25" RCA CRT console set with two-6x9 speakers but better than most flat panel sets today. 4K videos via the built-in YouTube app are phenomenal. The new built-in ATSC3 tuner on the HISENSE pulls in more over-the-air local stations than the previous 2 TVs we had using the same 10 inch window flat panel antenna. It's only been a month but so far I'm happy. Hope it's well-built and lasts for 10 years. Bought on sale from AMAZON at $600 and delivered in a day or so, this TV is a bargain. ... show more

Was excited for this TV, ordered for half off on prime day. TV arrived late due to the shipping company only doing deliveries on Tuesdays and Thursdays, all I had was a tracking number from my order on Amazon that did not work, and when the TV finally got here it was cracked. The manufacturer does not offer free replacements and Amazon's fix was to ask me to return the product and purchase it again not on sale. Overall a colossal waste of everybody's time ... show more
