I absolutely love this TV. Full disclosure; I initially found it at Walmart. I'm a gamer and my TV from the late 90s/Early 2000s was fantastic for my classic consoles, and was fine for tv watching. However, I recently got a Switch and needed an upgrade. Before choosing this TV I had assumed I would go with a Samsung, as I had always loved their products. When I went to go see TVs in person, I was actually far more impressed with the picture quality of this Hisense model! I saved for a while and when it came time, Amazon had the best price(I paid $286). Upon delivery it weighed about what a large bucket of cat litter weighs. Out of box set up was fairly easy(be cautious, the legs aren't the best). When I went to plug it in I was immediately disappointed as it had a crack in it. Discussed it with family members who urged me to send it back and have it replaced. Ultimately give 4.8 stars. Great quality, great price, sad delivery. ... show more

I really liked this tv at 1st. I was going to buy two. Great tv for the price. Having a Roku tv is awesome, but, now less then 2yrs old it turns on and off. Called customer support, did everything I was told to do including resetting and unplugging and reinstalling all cords again. And the remote won’t turn on. Changed to new batteries 3x to make sure it wasn’t that. Then I was given another support line to receive software update as per told by the previous customer service person I spoke with. That number will only give you two options that don’t include any help with this. So they disconnected me and referred me to the original number that I already called. I’m very frustrated and upset. So now they say call a technician. Really? I can only imagine what that would cost me. Guess I have to buy another tv ... show more

Honestly, this TV is miles better than other TV's we've paid a great deal of money for. My house is enjoying this TV a lot so far. I was worried from other reviews that it may be delivered broken- but it arrived safe and sound and has worked great for the last month at least. Bonus perk: so many more connectable apps than I anticipated. One drawback- viewing angle will influence how much the backlight takes over the image (ie if you're watching from a side angle it will appear much brighter and less saturated than viewed straight on). ... show more

The first TV i got worked great for around 4 hours then it started turning off and on and would not stop. i had to unplug it. after a while i plugged it back in. it worked for 30 minutes then started turning on and off again. So, i asked for a replacement. The replacement works great good picture quality. but on non HD programs the picture isn't very good. When watching UHD 4k program the picture is like real life, maybe better. The sound is fantastic there is no need to buy a soundbar, Unless you want one. it has solid deep base, nice crisp highs and, natural mid tones. the only problem i found with the sound is with sporting events. the surround sound is louder than the announcers i have to turn surround sound off so i can hear the announcers. I don't know if that issue is with the broadcast or the TV? It is a nice TV for the price. ... show more

I have an R6 Series 65" 4K Roku in my living room, three H3 series 40" 1080p TVs in various bedrooms, and I bought this TV to upgrade one of the 40s for a computer monitor. The picture is absolutely beautiful and the pixels are perfectly sharp for monitor use. The TV has the ability to show the input direct so there is no zoom or alteration to the shape of the image making it a 1:1 with the computer just like a conventional monitor. Colors feel vivid, and brightness is amazingly high. I end up running on 70% backlight for monitor use. The dynamic contrast setting which dims the backlight in very dark scenes is pretty cool. It works well for games and shows like Stranger Things giving the scene properly black blacks. Also for monitor use, the display warmth on normal is way too cold for monitor use and warm is actually extremely close to a proper temp (according to my calibrator) and just looks right. I will update my review once I get a chance to deep analyze the color gamut. ... show more

I already own a 40" Roku Hisense TV and have been happy with it over a year. Bought another for our family room. The TV has great feature once you get used to the controls. Even with broadcast TV you can see the program menu with seasons and episodes listed, or find out whats on and navigate to the show you want. Picture is excellent for price and audio is acceptable. Bass is not heavy without added sound by digital output or headphone jack only. ... show more

I have no complaints about this tv. I love it. I was able to mount it with ease. The picture quality is impeccable and the sound is that of a theater with no added home system. It's a roku tv so you do need Wi-Fi in the home to utilize steaming apps like Netflix and Hulu which are built in...among with others. You can control the tv with the remote or download the roku app on your phone and control the tv that way too. Also if you hook headphones up to your phone you can listen to the tv that way as well...great for not wanting to disturb others in the room without having to compromise volume! ... show more
