It’s a great tv and was simple to setup. The picture quality is fantastic. Quality for the price is spot on. It does occasionally glitch where we have to turn the power off to reset.

    • TV died after 1.5 years of use
For the price, I knew I was buying a cheap TV. But at the time, I didn't care much of it. I thought it would at least last 5 years. Nope. Up until it died last week I never really had any major issues. The picture quality was good. Audio was lacking enough that I eventually bought a sound bar and bass. The remote control was pretty old school looking. But overall it did the job. That was until I was in the middle of watching a show on Netflix and the TV turned off. I was perplexed of course, and thought it could be any number of issues. I'm relatively tech-savvy so I knew the usual steps to troubleshoot what the issue could be. Tested the outlet, the power cable, the remote, the screen, power cycled, etc. Nothing seemed to be wrong externally. Whenever I tried to turn the TV on (with either the remote or manually) the red light would flash a few times as if it were about to turn on, then it would immediately turn off. Every time. No matter what I tried. After some online digging it seems this is a somewhat common issue where the power supply/motherboard just stops working shortly after the 1 year warranty expires. What a pain. For this reason I cannot recommend this TV or this brand to anyone. I'm forced to get a brand new TV (again) because repairing this one would essentially be 2/3 the cost of the original purchase price. I'd rather have a trusted brand, that's a little more expensive, that will at least last me 10 years compared to this piece of junk that I now am left with. 0/10 would not recommend. ... show more

    • Second TV lasts for less than a year
Same exact issue.. first TV won't turn on after one year and 2 weeks of purchase.. and warranty is only one year. Second TV stopped working today same issue. Bought on January of this year. So should be under warranty. I will update this after hearing back from them. So far.. I don't recommend it. Good cheap TV but if you need to buy a new one every year. I think spend 100 more and get a different good brand that lasts for years at least. Such a waste! UPDATE: so they sent someone to my place to fix the TV. He said the TV turns on but no backlight to see it. And it can nit be fixed. Then he destroyed the TV and told me that I'll be getting a new one. There was none in-stock so they actually sent me an upgrade, a QLED TV. Much better quality than the kne I used to have. Brand new and ao far its been working fine. Satisfied with the warranty and how they sent everything without asking me to pay for anything, not even shipping like other companies would do. ... show more

    • Don't last, power issue
Worked great, but 3 monts after warranty was up the power just shut down right in the middle of a show, no more tv. My first "smart tv" not sure they are so smart. One yr 3 months is all I got out of this $400 tv. You get what you pay for I guess. TV's are disposable now I guess...garbage dump it goes. And YES I am angry, can't keep buying tvs every year! NOT HAPPY AT ALL ... show more

I bought this tv January 2022. I loved it. Last night it would not stay on. I turned on and 1 second later it would go off. Power is getting to the tv. I checked everything and will not stay on. Please help

    • Designed to break. DO NOT BUY THIS TV!
The color was nice. It had decent features. It regularly disconnected from my wifi but nbd. Then it just got a critical error out of nowhere. Ordered May 19th, 2022. Broke July 1st, 2023. 1 year manufacturer warranty. We don’t watch much TV and we definitely didn’t get our use out of it. From other online reviews I’ve seen, it appears the TV is designed to break just after the warranty expires. Context: We we’re watching YouTube on my computer and decided to stream it to the TV. The TV said the wifi was disconnected. Ok. Typical. Go into wifi settings, click connect, it connects. The YouTube video started playing in the background but the tv had a weird grey box in the in the middle of the screen that was just kind of a haze over the video as well as a message in the top right of the screen that flashed “wifi not connected.” It was working and playing and loading while flashing in the corner for about 2 minutes and then the video froze and the screen went blank. When I push the power button on the TV or the remote, the light under the TV flashes red. The internet tells me this is a power board failure and needs to be replaced. The internet also says you’re like lying to have to replace the TV just after a year. 0 stars if I could. DON’T BUY THIS JUNK TV. Hisense is just another trashy, greedy, corporate entity that doesn’t have any pride in their products and customer service is a nightmare. ... show more

This is my second Hisense TV - first was a 55 inch one - and I am very pleased with both. The picture is great, and the sound is amazing. Great progress there! The price is unbeatable. It weights nothing. My criticism concerns the remote. I wish Hisense would include a couple of user programmable keys. I would use one for a quick access to the timer. There is a programmable key to access a favorite channel, it's a start. ... show more
