Wow, this thing is is great! It looks and works as new. You can't beat that for the price. I live in a forest-like house, surrounded by trees, that has been getting humid with all of the rain we've been getting here in the Midwest. Solved the humidity problem in my house! Although each unit is meant to be good for 3000 sqft, I bought two for my 1500 sqft house because I'm not messing around lol. They work great and although they are refurbished they look and function as brand new. The humidity meter is accurate as I have a separate one that always seems to be in sync with the ones on these units. There is also a hose attachment for draining into a drain (drain must be lower than unit) which I haven't used yet but I probably will when I go out of town. Very happy with this and I may buy a third one when the summer months come. ... show more

The dehumidifier easily removes the moisture very quickly. I usually put high settings so it can remove moisture. It is a bit loud but it is okay as long as it does it’s job. It is a big steal as it looks brand new although it is refurbished. The brand new is twice the price of this one. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Works well but the humidity reading is unreliable
Keep in mind this product is refurbished. It takes moisture out of the air pretty fast. In my place it takes about 4.5 hours to fill the tank. The tank is not very large, but probably an ideal size since more water would be even heavier with regard to emptying the tank. Performance-wise it has done well. The humidity reading, however, is worthless on mine. It can say 50 when I empty the tank, turn it back on and it's 70 or 42 or 64 - just all over the map. That said I only run it on continuous mode so for my purposes it does not matter, but either my humidity detector is faulty or they just aren't accurate in general. I can't speak to that as I only have one. It does the job though. ... show more

Have had it running for 3 weeks straight, it's a tank. Does a great job dehumidifying my basement and whole house. The refurbished price is great. Had it running in less that a minute after unboxing. DID NOT COME WITH A HOSE
