I installed the system to cover two raised beds and a ground level garden. After some trial and error to get proper water flow to each emitter the system works great. No leaks, equal water flows. It was easy to install and the parts are quality parts My only concern is how easy it is to break off the emitter hose connector. With all that hose on top of the ground it's easy to snag a bit of hose while moving around the emitters and bang, there goes another broken emitter! My only suggestion for the kit is to include a few straight and 90 degree couplings as the only couplings included are 3-way tees. A few other (drip) emitter types would round out a very nice system, Nice system overall though. ... show more

    • Make sure you use a pressure regulator with this kit.

This kit is great, it’s fairly intuitive to use and it’s easy to cut the tubing and connect it with the fittings. It doesn’t have a pressure regulator though so the tubes will blow off of the fittings and the sprinklers or drip emitters with standard water pressure. The included splitter has flow regulators, those aren’t the same thing as pressure regulators. You might not have a problem with longer runs but you’ll definitely want to lower the pressure if you have a smaller garden. ... show more

    • Install slightly painful, but the result is excellent

Installation takes some time and a little pain, compared to the push to connect fittings, but the result is worth it. I have been able to balance out the watering amount at each location with a bit of back and forth. I have not (yet) had any issues with the emitters or other connectors popping off. I would probably have gone with a PTC set but I didn't see those available at the time I purchased this kit. In any case, I'm currently happy with the performance of this system. ... show more

    • Wouldn’t buy again

Yearly Update: After one year we are now into the second season with the garden. The plastic water spigots still work fine but the black tubing doesn’t hold past medium water pressure. Every time I try to use it now the connections blow and water sprays all over. I tried cutting the ends off and reconnecting them and it doesn’t help. In hindsight maybe we shouldn’t have left them out over the winter. However, I would have thought the tunic would be rated for harsher conditions. I ended up going to Lowes and buying heavier duty hosing. Now everything works fine. But I would have rather started with something heavier so I didn’t have to spend more money. We used this in our small garden. We connected it to a timer so that we don’t have to worry about watering all the time. These are made of quality materials and was easy to instal. The only drawback is that the nozzles are sensitive to water pressure. When I was trying to adjust how far the nozzles will spray they would not adjust to a lower spray if the water pressure is too high. Essentially the water pressure will cause the heads to release more water no matter how you adjust them. To remedy this we turned down the water at the faucet. Since our system is on a timer I don’t have to worry about opening the valve too far and messing up the set spray pattern. For me the value for money is worth adapting to the small issue. Other than the aforementioned issue there are no other problems. There are no leaks when installed properly and the tubing seems to be able to with stand the sun. I will update this if that fact changes through out the season. Overall great price good product. ... show more

I was able to put enough sprayers in each garden bed, and keep it all looking super tidy! Works great, and I haven't had to tinker with it or even think about it since installing!     • Everything is good except the hose connector

This set was really easy to put together and did a good job overall! However, my only gripe is that the split hose connector leaks. I have tried everything and it is still leaking a ton of water, lowering the water pressure throughout the sprinklers.

    • Super easy to put together and use

This system was easy to put together in our smaller garden. I connected it to my spicket with a Y adapter and a timer so I didnt have to worry about water flow. Each head is easily adjustable to give as much or as little water to each plant as you want. This definitely beat my expectations on quality and ease of putting it together. All you need is a scissors to cut the tube to the lengths you need in between your plants. The tubing is very difficult to pull off once it is put on a head, so be sure to do your cuts properly the first time! ... show more
