Ok I had to final admit that I was getting old and had to buy a hip brace. I was going to the chiropractor twice a week and also will continue to due so but my hip keeps popping out. Then also my lower back slips out onto the sciatic nerve at the same time...so I bought this. Buy a size down, you want this tight. Immediate relief once you figure it out. Remember it's the left leg the soft part of the Velcro is outward with the teeth of hell wrapping around. It’s a weird sensation but it puts you in place. It a little too bulky to wear under clothes just an FYI but hide able. Good Product for the relief and the price

This product has made my life so much more comfortable. What sold me was the description mentioned sciatica and wraps around below the waist. It supports the upper rear end and down the leg where the pain exists. It is a bit challenging to put on, but once you get the knack of it, it is well worth it. I recommend putting this support on before any other leg braces/supports. I also wear a support for my knee. And it’s easy for this product to grab the Velcro on the knee brace, and hang up putting it in place. However, I highly recommend using this product; it does its job!

My first impression when I opened the package was the material seemed a bit thin and flimsy. This calls in to question functionality, and durability. The Velcro grips well but Velcro wears out so we will see how long it holds up. The description says it can be worn on the left or right side however, the design of this thing clearly favors wearing it on the right side. Unfortunately, my issue is in my hip on my left side. When worn on the left side you have to pull the elastic strap around behind your back, hold it tightly in place and then pull the other strap around in front and close it with the Velcro. I found this to be very awkward and extremely difficult to wrap it tightly enough to get any meaningful support. I did wear it a full day working doing landscaping and found it to be very comfortable with no chaffing or irritation and it stayed in place well with no riding. Unfortunately because it is a major hassle to get it the least bit tight and I never did get it tight enough to get any real support I don’t see this brace being much use to me. Maybe with a little practice I can get it tighter. If you can get it tight enough I think it will work fairly well or if you wear it on your right side you may have more success.

wow, 1st of all, Sciatica's intrusive symptoms affect so many of us in different ways, who knew, I sure didn't and I'm willing to do what I can. Talking to others, especially those who have regained movement with less or without pain is helpful, minus the "war stories". I purchased this brace as I walk a big dog every morning. For me, it's a game changer, this brace is nicely made, sturdy, easy to wrap, washed up nicely, I don't sleep in it, once you get the hang of it, it's great. Now I stand up straightening walking.but and glad I listened when a brace was suggested.
