After doing a lot of research and getting referrals from friends, this is the bike/manufacturer I chose. Wow! It's so nice to ride and is very cool to look at. It handles well uphill. You can choose to work out and pedal or you can cruise for a bit. There are quite a few accessories you can get for it too. It's too hot in Florida (95+ degrees) right now to enjoy it more frequently so I am looking forward to the fall and in the cooler months. I had to contact customer service for an issue but they immediately responded and have worked with me to get the item resolved. After MUCH research, I chose to purchase Himiway's Step-Thru Cruiser eBike via Amazon as the best, currently affordable electric bike with all-around features needed for local cummuting and recreation purposes. Purchasing through Amazon gets the purchaser backing from two companies: Himiway and Amazon Customer Service. This buys you assurance of quality care if anything should go unsatisfactory and gave me a purchasing package that I couldn't straight from Himiway. It is important to track your package. Delivery notice was after-the-fact and box beat up. I was thankful that my purchase came earlier than anticipated but ws left out in the elements that could have been disastrous if rainy. Luckily, Himiway packs the eBike well internally!!! This was my first eBike and was able to put it together through Himiway's help videos with ease, just took my time. Those that are familiar with these sorts of eBikes could most likely put it together in less than an hour. There was an advertised accessory not included and would recommend having zip ties and several washers handy for proper tighting of bolts (for my liking). The Amazon Himiway Customer Service Team is AMAZING! I had notified them about the missing accessory, and they provided me with one of my choice. Additionally they provided other choice assessories for the way that my package was handled/delivered. I've ridden my eBike for about three weeks. It is everything advertised and more!!! I got mine this last December. It's a beast. Very heavy. But also very powerful. I took it out for it's first hard test this summer. Very steep logging road. I'm close to 250, and I was very impressed. Sat on seat peddling like I was on level road. Even was able to coast a little. It was cool. Coasting uphill👍 I would recommend to younger heavier person(I'm 56) who needs the extra power and doesn't mind the weight of the bike. ... show more

This bike can move. Although it is heavy, you dont feel it during the ride. It is also comfortable and has no issues picking up speed even with a heavier set guy on it. Highly recommend.

The bike itself is great. Put it together and charged the battery. Went to test it out the next day and it wouldn’t power up. After looking for an hour and trying to troubleshoot found a wire slashed on the wire from the display to remote. Sent a request to himiway to fix. I will update if/when I hear back from them. UPDATE: Customer service was very responsive and offered to solve the issue!! It’s a great bike, just had a flaw which can happen from time to time. Would recommend this bike 100% ... show more
