I have filled these bags to the brim, easily with 50-60 pounds of products. I have two of them. They are definitely heavy duty. The build quality is excellent - from the materials used down to the seams using sturdy threads. The zipper is husky and zips smoothly every time. And yes, it keeps frozen and cold items cold and hot items hot for hours. The interior lining is super easy to cleaning and moisture proof. The only suggestion I have it to make the base lining rigid (not flexible). It will help keep products and containers in place and prevent shifting while on the go. Great product!!! ... show more

I carry food/cookware to my parents house for Sunday dinners and I wanted something that I could lift out of the trunk of my car with everything in it - food, baking sheets, casserole, skillet, spatulas, wine -whatever. UPDATED REVIEW The replacement arrived quickly and with no stains/defects. I am pleased with the quality of the replacement. INITIAL REVIEW Upon opening the package, I noticed there were some light brown stain marks on the front of the bag. Not sure if those were from storage or prior use. Then I opened the insulated bag to find a rip in the lining at the seam. For the price I paid for this bag, I’d like it to be free of defects upon receipt. So, I returned the bag and am awaiting a replacement. I will update this review once I receive the replacement. Otherwise, the bag is very spacious and seems sturdy.     • Sturdier than I expected!
This thing is a great size and is much thicker and sturdier than I expected. The bottom is soft, so we just put a baking sheet on the bottom and it worked perfectly. Great product.

    • Best quality Hot / Cold food storage and delivery bag available
After lengthy research and trial, I settled on the HIMAL food storage bag and I could not be any happier. I looked at a several and even bought and tried a couple but the ones i tried were not as sturdy as I had hoped they would be. Whether it was the bag being sturdy enough or the zipper being hardy enough to take the rigors of daily usage , I was not finding one that would stand up to the demands of constant usage. Then I came across the Himal bag and after reading the reviews , I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did because once I tried it I never looked back. Not only is it sturdy and very well built but it's large enough to hold multiple large orders as well as large Pizza's. I have been using for 3 months now and its functioning like its brand new. No noticeable wear on the bag and especially the zipper. Super happy I tried it. By the way , I paid for my bag and was not compensated for my review. Hope this helps . ... show more

Quality canvas. Good stitching. Good zipper. Nice wide straps that appear to be attached well, no issue at this point. One reason I chose this bag is because the straps go around the bottom; I only purchase this type. If the straps are only attached to the sides, it is too much pull where they will eventually breakdown. A multi-purpose pan lol. I didn’t want the bottom to bow when loaded, so I purchased a pan for a fixed bottom. The pan is solid, it is thick, so it won’t bend. It works great – the size fits with just a little extra space around the edges of the bag, it doesn’t slide around. It is not heavy so it will not add much weight to a loaded bag. If you are interested in the pan, it is quality and comes with a rack. My husband delivers food for work. This bad has been a godsend we have tried other brands and this one seams to work the best. The material is really the best at keeping the food hot or cold because of the material inside and the zipper is strong not like other bags. The bag is also very lightweight.
