    • Why bother?
Just an upside down bag really. I put in lure but predictably with no positive result even with active (swarm ready) hives on the property. If I were a bee I would fly on by - lol.

The media could not be loaded. Pros: - Made from breathable canvas - 40cm long, 18cm @ top, 33cm @ bottom - Three way steel reinforced - Pull string closure bottom - Loop at top to suspended trap in tree - Waterproof cloth Cons: - No instructions or guidelines We ordered this in hopes of catching a honey bee swarm for our fruit orchard. We have hung the trap near our orchard but have yet to catch anything.. We are not sure if it is the right time for catching a swarm. We will keep it out alittle while longer this year.. And will try to get it out early spring next year. Seems pretty simple.. Came with no instructions.. Had to watch the video in the listing but then again it doesn't really show much expect an active nest.. So not sure we are doing everything right or even if there is a wrong way to hang it. Will update review if anything changes.. As for recommendations.. Not comfortable right now either way. ... show more

    • We’re still learning.
We’re hoping to catch a swarm. We did try and use this but had no luck this year we’ll try again in the spring. This is our first attempt so we aren’t totally discouraged (we think the idea is sound). Easy enough to use. Now we just need bees.

    • It is just a bag, adjustable closure broke within week.
Only functional part of this (the string closure with a sliding tab broke within a week. Other than that it does not do anything it is just a bag. No pocket for a frame (barely even fits a frame) and of course I used a lure but no bees after 3 months. Can't directly blame this product for not collecting bees though but for a Nylon bag which is all this is the price is outrageous. ... show more
