This is a very sturdy bike that seems to be well-built (haven't road-tested it yet). It is certainly nice looking. The instructions were not specific to the bike, so it took a bit of "common sense" to put it together. However, the bike itself is a nice bike. The seat is hard (probably typical of most bike seats) and the bike is just a hair to tall for my wife (she can handle it on her tip-toes). ... show more

Very nice bike at a great price. The bike came quickly and arrived in a large box. It was disassembled, which initially gave me some pause bc I thought there'd be a lot more work, especially with the brake cabling and gears and chain. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't so bad since the parts were broken in main pieces that wouldn't require too much bike assembly and tuning. The main frame was already assembled and this included the brake cabling for front and rear brakes, plus the gears, chain and gear shifters were also already installed. The remaining parts (tires, pedal, reflectors, and seat) were all straightforward to assemble. The handlebars did take a little time because the main nut holding the vertical handlebar was on really tight and I had to be careful not to damage the frame finish. Once assembled, the bike looked great and only required minor adjustment to the brakes and lubrication of the chain and gears. We chose the "Green" color, but as the photos show, it's actually more sea blue, which was an even better color for my daughter. Additionally, the low step-through horizontal bar was very helpful for short(er) riders. Bike components (eg derailer, tires, brakes) were ok and functional. They weren't the brands I was used to, but I was ok with the tradeoff to price. Overall, we're very happy with the bike, which rides comfortably and is at a great price. ... show more

Was supposed to be a Christmas present for granddaughter, but the bike, assembled on Christmas Eve, had a warped rear tire. Returning after Christmas was a pain as it could only be returned if it was boxed (who has a box that big?). Tried to order another but "we'll email you when it's back in stock." It has been a long time since I rode a bike, but I have to say this is a nice one. Thankfully the adage is true, “It’s just like riding a bike”. One thing that hasn’t changed since the last time I rode a bike is the tiny seat. I do wish that they would come up with a better seat, that is a bit wider, but that’s not specific to this bike, that’s all bikes. This bike looks great, and it comes mostly assembled. For the price, this bike meets expectations. It’s easy to put together, looks good and gives a smooth ride on pavement. The reason for knocking a star off is that it’s a bit heavy for a small woman yo load on a bike rack by herself. I got this bicycle for my wife so we could ride together and she fell in love immediately. She loves the color, the look and the feel and finds it to be rather nice and comfortable. It's relatively easy to assemble and seems to be made rather well that it should last us for years to come! General word of advice, always check your tire inflation to make sure they're up to the right PSI and a good fit for your own safety needs! ... show more
