This is just as it claims. It folds up into a triangle & has a stabilizer to make it safe to climb. The price was right at the time & the only con that I have is its pretty heavy but if light then it might not be as sturdy. I suppose we can't have it both ways.

I purchase this ladder to put in my 5th wheel RV and it works great. It stores great and takes up hardly no space to store. Love the fact I dont have to extend fully if I dont need the height but the height is there when I need it

Compact and easy to use, this ladder is sturdy enough to do any job above 10ft. No storage issue to worry about. I put it on the corner of my living room and accessible anytime.

    • Seems sturdy - did not have slow retract function
I bought the 12.5' straight version for keeping with our camper. Ladder seems sturdy enough - time will tell. Gave it a lower rating because it does NOT have the slow retract feature that is mentioned. This thing retracts fast enough to take a finger off!

The 12.5 foot ladder itself is heavy indicating it should be sturdy. I read the reviews and still bought one to see for myself. Will probably only use it to 7 foot height. - Extending each section have to be careful and make sure it locks into place. - Plastic locking tabs seem to hold up, but not sure for longer term. - Works well in the 6-7 foot height (A-frame position), but still shaky (each telescoping section) when near the top - Nice compact fold up - Folding up ladder not as easy as I thought - drop 1 section on left....then 1 section on right...repeat each section - Tried the full length ladder against the house and would prefer to keep it in A-frame position ... show more
