We recently purchased the Higher Dose Blanket after hearing about the benefits of Infrared for the last few years. I am typically skeptical of things like this but after battling joint pain for the last few years I decided was willing to give it a shot. And I could not be happier! It arrived rather quickly and with great tips and suggestions. It folds up and stores very easily as well. These things are great, but the other benefits are even better! My husband and I both workout quite a bit and I can honestly say, we both agree, that using the blanket after a workout has definitely sped up muscle recovery. I have also been battling arthritis pain in my knees and hips and whenever I am in the blanket, I get so much relief. I used to lay under electric blankets all the time but that never helped very much. On top of all this, it is so relaxing. The minute I get under it, I feel like I could fall asleep right away. I absolutely love my Higher Dose blanket. With COVID, I have been more wary of public sauna experiences. A friend recommended this blanket and having it has made it so much easier to get a sweat going in the comfort of my own home. It heats up fast and I start to sweat quickly once I’m inside. The blanket is very easy to get in and out of too. I usually lay in bed with it and put on a show so that the time passes quickly. Bought this item in September of last year wasn’t heating properly at all tried to return it and Amazon and the company both refused to return and refund so I’m stuck with a 700 dollar piece of crap that barely heats up STAY AWAY

I purchased this sauna blanket as a way to test the idea of regular sauna use without buying a stand alone sauna. What I like is it heats up fast. I put it on 8 and use it for 40 minutes. I listen to 40hz meditation music. I have used it about 3x a week since purchasing it and feel that it aid my circulation and overall mood. It is pricey but I am glad I bought it. ... show more

I used to spend so much money on monthly memberships to use an infrared sauna and have been able to save $$$ because of this! I used to sit in the infrared sauna at 150 degrees for nearly an hour. The sauna blanket has a setting from 1-8. I am able to do settings 5-6 and can to stay in for about 45 minutes and sweat just the same! I really recommend this sauna blanket!. I already used it 10 times, for 35 mins and it is amazing how you feel relaxed and ready to sleep as a baby. After the sauna, I’ve taken a cold shower and it has helped me a lot with my circulation.

    • Sweat for sure but does it provide benefits?
This is pretty well put together. I mean I never owned any others to compare it to, but this seems made to last. I’ve used it for over 3 weeks about 3-4 times a a week and can’t honestly say I see any benefit. I’m on full power now and it does work up a good sweat and is pretty relaxing. Thing is, I live in Florida so sweating is no big feat! I work out so sweat just as much in the gym. From what I’ve been told, suana blanket sweat is supposed to be a “better” sweat but I’m still waiting to see how. I actually bought this for my wife since her doc recommended it for detox. She hasnt used it once! Lol. Makes me the Guinea pig. I don’t drink much or anything like that so can’t say if it detoxes in a hangover way either but i do at least feel good when I get out of it. Not a natural high like it says but I don’t feel beat up. One thing you should consider is that I’m 6’ 225 lbs and not at all fat but not skinny either (17%BF). I BARELY fit in this height wise and it’s hard to zipper and to keep zippered across my shoulders. I get zipper over Velcro but it’s hard for me to move inside and zip it up all the way and if I make a move it unzips at the shoulder area. It’s not tight, I can move, but if I try to reach across to get the zipper it opens and it’s near impossible to zip with the right hand since I don’t bend that way…..lol. The flap over the left shoulder was a great idea though. Overall I went with the more expensive option with the bells and whistles like clay and amethyst etc but gotta say, again with nothing to compare it to, I’m not sure if I’d recommend you do the same. I knew going in I was partly paying for the name of a big time NYC Spa and accept that, but was also kinda hoping for a big time spa return on the investment in my health etc, but I’m still waiting. I will update this if I notice any remarkable benefits since I want this to work and I want to be fair and for people to know my truthful experience before they plunk down the coin needed for the Mercedes of suana blankets. ... show more
