  • How can filament this cheap be this good?
Color: Grey
Wow! I've never found filament this cheap. The best deals I've found were about $17 per roll. This is even cheaper! I researched online a little before buying them and other sites list this brand as one of the best bang for your buck. I have to agree! Even at $20 per roll, filament is cheap and you can print whatever you want. At almost half that, there's no worry about printing costs! I tried this filament out on some 'NASA' fabric that acts kind of like a chainmail. I want to make a little armor suit for my dog out of it. I've tried a few different filaments and some have worked and some haven't. This filament works great for this chainmail! Plus, it's already the grey color I would be coloring it so it looks like metal! I'll probably still paint it with a shinier surface to give it a more metallic feel. While printing I didn't notice any extra smells or fumes at all. I was expecting there to be some kind of downside to a filament that's so much cheaper than anything else I've seen! Very nice filament! I'll be buying more! Definitely recommended! ... show more

  • Nice color!!
Color: Red
Tangled a few times and have to print slow! But it’s a nice color! I found a YouTube video for 3DHoJor filament that really helped dial in the settings for my Kobra S1! Surprisingly, there was also a comment by someone with the same printer that also helped. I give 5 stars due to the quality and being easy to print once I found the right settings! Don’t feel right docking a star due to the tangle it was an easy fix and it was probably my fault anyway lol! ... show more

  • Reliable and Great Print Quality!
Color: Fire Engine Red
This PLA filament prints smoothly and consistently with no clogs or tangles. The diameter is very accurate, and the layers bond perfectly for strong, clean prints. It adheres well to the bed and doesn’t warp, even on long prints. The color is vibrant, and the finish looks professional. Great value for the price — I’ll definitely be ordering more! ... show more

  • Ease of use and color is perfect!
Color: Blue
This is great quality filament. It works just as good as the more expensive filament. It does well in the 3d printer and we will continue to buy. Very pleased with it.

  • Better than I expected
Color: Fire Engine Red
This filament has pleasantly surprised me. Being one of the cheaper options, I wasn't expecting much. And for whatever reason, when loading the filament and priming the nozzle, it looks like it has actual chunks in it, and looks like it wont print very well. However, the actual prints look great. I will say, there appears to be slight color inconstancies, but they're.....consistently inconsistent. If that makes sense. For example, I printed a fire extinguisher for a kids Halloween costume, and it almost appeared to have a red to black gradient, rather than a perfectly uniform red color. But it wasn't like just random spots of darker colors, it was legitimately a gradient, almost appearing to be intentional, like a dual-color filament. Who knows, it could have just been the lighting honestly. Either way, the print quality exceeded my expectations, and this will become my go-to filament, for this color at least. I'll have to try their other offerings next ... show more

  • Don't be enticed by cheap price.
Color: Cold White
I was lured in by the cheap price and low product review count. Hoping it was a good product from a up-and-coming filament manufacturer, I purchased two spools of white PLA to print prototype iterations cheaply before using the real stuff. Package arrived quickly and spools passed visual inspection (filament wound neatly and felt good to the touch). That was the end of the good. I have used over 250g of one spool and have yet to get a good print. Adhesion was a challenge at first, but eventually found temp settings (bed/extruder) that seemed to get it to stick. This was after 7-8 attempts. Each time scrubbing the removable bed with alcohol and/or dish soap. This is a bed plate that typically only needs single wipe of isopropyl to get any filament to stick (PLA, PETG, PLA+, etc). Unfortunately, the corners began to curl up halfway through the print. I decided to let it proceed, but nearly all of the print was floating by the end. Needles to say, the print was not dimensionally accurate. I switched to another manufacturer's filament and the print completed with no problems (adhesion or curling). Therefore, I shelved this spool to try again at a later date. I decided to give it another try a week later and the filament will not stick at all now. It just curls away from the bed and makes a huge glob around the nozzle. I've swapped nozzles and inspected my extruder to make sure nothing else could be wrong. I've tried adjusting print temperatures on the fly, tried glue stick (suggested by a friend, but that made adhesion worse). I'm debating on trying a slurry of acetone and this filament (saw this technique on another filament review) but do not want to damage my bed plate for this filament when others seem to print fine. So far, I've wasted countless hours over several evenings/mornings on this filament and have received only frustration and extra work cleaning hot-ends/nozzles. Needless to say, I'll be returning the unopened spool and accept the lost $ on the opened spool as "lesson learned." ... show more

  • Best generic filament I have found
Color: Black+cold White
I’ve tried a lot of budget PLA, and 3DHoJor is easily the best generic filament I’ve used on my Bambu Lab A1 Mini. It prints smoothly, sticks well, and gives consistent, clean results without needing a bunch of tuning. The color looks great too. For the price and performance, this has become my go-to filament to keep stocked. ... show more

  • Underdog filament
Color: Natural White
Cant speak for other colors but the white filament way exceeded my expectations! It was some of the finest printed material with good adhesion and barely noticeable layer lines. Absolutely worth it for 12 bucks
