I am really enjoying this item. I have fine, menopusal. thin hair and usually have to blast it hotter than an oven, more than once and with a lot of product. My old school one was frying my hair and causing a lot of breakage. with this tool, I can air dry my hair and use the dryer to get a curl really fast. Being able to lock in the curl with cool blast sealed the deal, for me. It is everything it claims to be. It is super lightweight and this makes it so much easier for me to style. My arms don't have time to ache - it works so quickly! The magnetic attachment design is genius. I can change attachments without turning off the unit, which is also nice. The diffuser is great if I need to style quickly, without allowing air dry, first. I use this to add volume at my roots and this works great. I use just a small shot of warm air and can easily change to cool to lock in the lift. I did not need to turn it off to change temps and could go straight to air blast, again, without turning the unit off. The magnetic attachment design is ideal and one of my favorite parts. No need to turn the dryer off, hold the dryer with one hand and the other hand to unscrew one attachment, then the same to reattach. Just pop off the attachment and pop the new one right into place. This enables me to keep the brush in my hair and lends more time for a cool down, which leaves a nice. long lasting curl. It is perfect for travel or in a gym bag for a touch up, if needed. It is the quietest, most powerful unit I have ever owned. Definite two thumbs up, from me.

This is a very well built hair dryer. All plastic soft touch materials but doesn't feel cheap. Actually feels very solid in hand and the magnetic attachments are super strong. Puts out a ton of air at high velocity which is shocking for such a small device. Attachments are also well made but they all significantly reduce the output when attached, not just the diffuser. Drying performance is very good as well once you get the hang of it and figuring out which attachments work best for your hair. As far as heat goes, it puts out a ton of heat as well. Unfortunately it's only got 3 temperatures (cold, hot, flaming hot) so be careful on it's hottest setting. The good thing is that the handle and the dryer itself does stay cool during use. Besides the inability to fine tune the heat, the only other gripes is with the cord length and the intake position. The cord is very thick and has a reset on the plug which is very nice, however at 6', it's a little short. Not a deal breaker but worth noting for users that have receptacles in weird places. Lastly, the air intake is located at the base of the handle which means you have to choke up on your grip in order to not block the airflow. It's a good design so you don't inadvertently suck your hair into the dryer but just something you have to get used to. Overall, this is a very good dryer. Looks and works well and costs a fraction of what a Dyson or similarly built units cost. If they would add a couple of feet to the cord and let you fine tune the heat settings a little, it would probably be perfect.

This Dongxw hair dryer is a great upgrade from my old one, especially in terms of noise. There's no high-pitched motor buzzing—just a powerful stream of air. It dries my hair a little faster, saving me around 3-4 minutes. This dryer offers three settings: no heat, high heat, and ultra-high heat. I usually stick with the medium (high heat) setting, which feels comparable or slightly cooler than the hottest setting on my old dryer. I'm cautious with the hottest setting to avoid potential hair damage. The dryer does an excellent job straightening my hair without causing frizz, so getting it straight takes some effort. I chose this model specifically for the deeper diffuser, which is perfect for enhancing curls. The difference between the high and low air settings isn't significant, but the diffuser still works well to create defined curls. I used the medium heat setting for this, whereas I would normally use a high heat setting. Drying with warm air and then finishing with cold worked well enough. Another quirk is that when I first used the dryer, it would reset to the cold setting after turning it off, but now it consistently turns on to the warm setting—maybe it's just my imagination. Overall, while the noise level might seem much different to the user, people around me definitely notice that it's quieter. I give this dryer a thumbs up for effectively handling both straight and curly hair.

Thank goodness they are FINALLY making lightweight, powerful, easy to hold hair dryers WITH DIFFUSERS! I have wanted one like this for so long but am not going to pay $500 for a hair dryer, that is seriously so dumb. And I am so happy with this one! It's like a dream to be able to hold the back end while diffusing, and the dryer is so quiet compared to my old one. I'm super happy!

This is a great addition to my styling tools. Powerful with three heat settings, the circle light at the end of the dryer lights up with blue, orange and red to correlate with the setting. The slide button on the inside of the handle determines low or high power. It's a little hard to see the "low" setting but once you find it, you know it going forward and it's a small miss in the equipment. It did not take long to dry my long wavy hair. And NO STATIC. Lightweight and easy to maneuver behind my head. It also comes with 3 attachments for styling. And that lavender color. Wow. Total bonus that it's pretty to look at... If I had one wish, it would have come with a carrying case but that doesn't take away a star. It's too good not to give a 5 star review.

I love the color of it! But I feel like when I dry my hair with it it makes my hair feel crappy and dry. I will say it does have a ton of power and honestly it hurts my ears it’s so dang loud. It works fine I’m just not the biggest fan of it
