I got this to try providing some extra comfort for my home office chair. It has straps to help keep it in place and the size is large enough to cover most, if not all, of your back. This is a 24” long molded foam support that stretches from the seat to your shoulders with the purpose of keeping your back safely aligned. The support comes in a cylindrical, tube enclosed on one end by a zipper. How it was put in there is a sign of modern, industrial packing - by vacuuming the air out. Then it is covered in a tight plastic sleeve. It takes some strength to remove it. (LOL) The material looks and feels like gray ,sweat shirt, gym apparel. Once removed there is no foam odor and the support stretches to full shape immediately. Easily, it can be attached to the chair with two straps that are sewed into the sides of the back support. Plastic adjustable buckles are easily set up and the unit is solidly attached to your chair. It took 3 minutes to set it up on my chair. Although the setup is made for high back office/game chairs I ordered it for my smaller, standard one. My experience is as follows: Pro: Support is soft and relaxing. Stays put - does not move around. Helps prevent ‘sitting on your spine.’ Keeps the back aligned. Does not interfere with adjustable reclining back chairs. Very reasonable price. Con: None. I’ve had several back supports over the years - the same problem has occurred, i.e. they became hard over time. I hope this will not occur with this product. It’s hard to explain, but it is hard to fall back to old postures with this product because it covers the entire back. I recommend it. ... show more

The product has an awful stench to it, and even after months it wont go away. The lumbar support arch is uncomfortable and doesn't give much support to the back. I wish it was larger as I have a large back and its just kind of small for me.

I've been using this for 2 days so far. It feels pretty comfortable. It causes me to sit more forward in my chair. I normally slouch a lot in my office chair. I'm hoping this will make sitting for a while in my chair more comfortable. So far it's too early to tell but so far it feels pretty comfortable. This gives me some lower back support that I normally don't have with my chair. I'm hoping this makes it so I have less lower back issues. Time will tell but so far so good. I've tried a couple of pillows in the past on my chair for lower back support but those are uncomfortable. They make me feel like something big is in my way and not letting me sit in the chair properly. So far this is the only thing that seems like it may work. Those pillows I immediately felt like they're not comfortable and I won't be able to use those and I didn't use those. So, so far this has surpassed those pillows. I recommend this back pillow.
